Born and raised in Maine, we always get excited when Maine is mentioned. I am not far from Kennebunkport. The author definitely sounds like they need to get out more - Maine isn’t any more creepy than any other state. Many residents will give you the shirt off their back just to help you out even if you’re a stranger.
