I have a theory that the figure is a sort of hive mind that can summon the figure from the festering meat piles. The meat piles might be the remains of the hotel workers and miners from when the monsters broke loose and killed all of them. That might explain why the figure has a human ribcage and bones, his teeth might just be broken pieces of human bone.

My theory is that in floor 3, the chase sequence will involve both seek and infected queen grumble. The hotel is connected to the mine, the mine is connected to the castle and the castle is connected to the hotel, so what is probably going to happen is that towards the end of the castle, maybe like door 280 or something, you will enter back into the hotel, and floor 1 rooms will appear but maybe some new designs, and then a door 300, and then you will go through a door at the end, where you can continue back into the main hotel on floor 1.

I have a theory, but this will be a long one. The true enemy of the entirety of Doors is a third light, we have guiding light and curious light, but there’s another: the red light, I will just refer to it as the modifier light, of course, it is used to modify the hotel, so it obviously has a lot of power, and since the modifiers can control if certain entities spawn or not, then it must be the one spawning all the entities in the first place. This red modifier light could explain how figure got from door 50 to door 100 and into the mines super fast, the red modifier light is teleporting him, this also explains how guiding light can’t do stuff such as automatically open the door 50 door for you or automatically put the bridge down in door 150, the red modifier light has a lot of power over the hotel. The entities that the crusifix don’t work on are figure, seek, and the grumbles, where they Cham still be used on them but they fail, and what other color does the crusifix turn when it fails..? RED. The modifier light is also connected to seek because seek has a red light for when he runs or when seek attacks in floor 2, so modifier obviously mainly controls seek. As-explained by game theory, the painting in the secret room to get to the rooms shows all 3 lights, guiding light, curious light, and modifier light, so I think the blue guiding light it the hero, the orange curious light is the neutral, and the red modifier light is the evil.

What I mean, there’s probably a ton of most entities, but I believe there’s only one figure, one seek, and maybe only a handful of giggles that have matured into grumbles, being why the modifier light has to take control of the crucifix and cause it to fail so that it doesn’t loose it’s most powerful minions. 🤔

i have a theory: the miners were mining then they mined into the seek slime and the grumbles found the anchor point and thats why the bridge is up and the seek slime took over most of the giggles which explains the screech piles and one of the elevators that we didn't take was used to flee the hotel

My Theory: The Hotel is usually sued as a resting place for WW2 soilders, it looks like the 1930s because of the design and items. Lighters dont look like that today! There isnt a single TV and looks like the 1930s.

Don't forget the infirmary. Hotels in WW2 helped the wounded by turning into a hospital-like area. Maybe there was also a gold rush beforehand, which would possibly explain the mines, or the hotel just was built on top of an area that was rich in gold.

I feel like the mines was apart of the California rush times so people moved there apart of the Oregon trail. Which could also explain why there are mines under a hotel which the hotel owner new about so he allowed miners to go in the mines to find gold which could explain the barricades in the lobby which is an easier way to get to the mines. This is probably how the hotel owner had another way to make money by charging miners to mine in the caves. I honestly just feel like the mines take place in California and who knows we could end up in Oregon soon.

I think that seek is the REAL villan bc grumbles and giggles are trying to protect the nest, screech is a corrupted version of giggle and figure is scared by any tipe of sound (animals usually fight the thing they are scared from). Maybe rush and ambush have a reason too (feel like seek and the modifiers light are a team bc hide looks like it was created by the red light and while entering a closet in the seek chase you are immediately kicked ot of the closet)

i had a theory i called “the seekers” basically i was thinking that the dead piles of screeches are the elders of the family tree,and heres what i think the stages of a screech’s/giggles’ life works: youngest phase-giggles adult phase-grumbles elder phase-screeches i also thought that seek may have originated from these piles of screeches,since we did see clearly that mouths and eyes were separated (kinda) from their screech form,meaning that seek may be the oldest monster in the entire game. and also think about it,seek has the ability to spawn in eyes (the ones on the walls) although they aren’t similar to screech/giggles its a bit weird of how he can spawn so many both in the hotel and in the mines. it is a theory though,but it can be a bit understandable on seek’s past.

I have a teori od seek [ it's small] My theory is that seek as we know him as all black with one eye is just a clone. It seems true to me because on floor 2 in door 200 a lump of black slime appears from the sewers. Which means, if he wanted seeks, he would release a bunch of seeks in door 200 to eliminate players, because seek can transform into slime - and as he said it infects players, it could mean that seek makes new seeks from dead players. And the main seek would be with the tie that is on Achievements. Do you like it?

I've been paying close attention to the doors lore during my gameplay, and when my evidence got backed up by more doors lore KZbinrs, it's fair to say that seeks power is limitless, and his main goal is to corrupt everyone that enters. As you said during the video, the queen Grumble reproduces with the other Grumbles to make Giggle, which then grow up to make more Grumbles. Now that Seek has destroyed Queen Grumble, There is nobody left to reproduce. So it is likely we may find a massive Seek clan when we face Floor 3. And again going off from what you said, Screech probably does attack Giggles to make more Screech's, making Seeks power limitless as he controls everything with black goo on it. All I'm saying is do NOT be surprised if we have a battle again with Seek, but this time 10x stronger...

They don’t “mutate”, they mature. Giggles are young grumbles. Grumbles are grown up giggles. Screech is a giggle INFECTED by seek. A giggle doesn’t just “mutate” into a screech, it’s infected.

In our own universe it’s just a normal hotel but we heard about someone who said there was entity’s and that he died like hundred times so you come to the hotel but find nothing until someone advises you to “check around back” like the achievement “the back door” you go through and make it to the alternate version of the hotel. The back door has a timer because it cannot hold something that’s not from that world also all entities are hostile because they want to escape into the real world so it try’s to kill the player but fails so you continue on again an again until you make it to the end and reach the max power of the guiding light so it can send you back to the real world it explains why ambush and other entities are glitched. So what do you think of this theory dose it fit in you decide.

I have a theory that The reason the mines exist is to mine ancient artifacts from underneath the hotel because if you look around the place a bit it seems a little bit too medieval like the queen grumble and the grumbles like knights and plus the statue is a king and we know the statue is guiding light so guiding light is a king of the past and seek is a necromancer who uses a spell to corrupt the giggles in the form of goo and even the back of the hotel is a castle and I think they were launching their mining plan until The workers accidentally woken up seek from his tomb of his own magic that sealed him away and that is why he is so corrupt and only has one eye

I have a theory that queen grumble gave birth to a small queen grumble with no mark and it grew up and up until it was like all the giggles then she was on the ceiling waiting for a player seek came and she jumped onto him and then he was mad so he infected her with his slime and threw her on the ground the other giggles saw this and ran to tell there queen and the queen became sad so they had to abandoned her so they left her that explains why screech has more tentacles than giggles

I have a theory. what if the rift also works as a time machine? If we put s floor 2 item at the floor 2 rift, and we go to floor 1, we get that item. what if the item gets duplicated?
