Kali represents the state of Shakti which leads to kaivalya, the state experienced during Bardo, death or after Apocalypse. It's that 3d blackness which happens in samadhi, prior to the appearance of the blinding light. She represents ego death and consequent resurrection. She represents immortality and transcendence of time. The garland of 51 human heads she is wearing represents the 51 letters of Sanskrit. These letters actually originate from the Nada or vibrations of chakras and their petals. Each of these leads to the knowlege of a different aspect of universe, and the powers attained as a consequence. These are also known as the 51 matrikas of tantra represented by the 51 Shaktipeethas. The waist girdle of severed hands represents the dropping of the sense of doership. The black complexion represents the all-comsuming or all-accepting nature, as there aren't many strict rules for connecting to Kali. The lolling tongue represents Khechari mudra and the mastery over one's speech, mind, senses and creative-sexual energy. The hand holding Scimitar or sword represents the cutting through all one's addictive attachments (cravings), the severed head represents ego death and the resulting knowledge of reality and immortality, the two other hands bestow boons (Vara) and fearlessness/protection/assurance (Abhay). Kali represents the form of Shakti where she has apparently seperated from Shiva to grant the knowlege of enlightenment, while Tripurasundari represents the ordinary waking state. After being enlightened, Shiva embraces Shakti as Tripurasundari. There is extremely deep symbolism in it. This isn't even 0.1 % of the knowledge.

Finally got to know, from where the character of Radha came in Krishna's childhood stories . A few years(7years may be) back, I have read a book by Sri, Ananda Murti ji where he said exactly the same thing, that "Radha as a person" became famous in the later Vaishnav texts. And there is no mention of her name in the Mahabharat and in the Bhagavat. Sri Sri Anand Murtiji described that "Radha" is not to be seen as a real historical person, who was in love with Krishna(who was a real historical person) , but she is to be seen as a force (Radhika Shakti or Lhadini Shakti) , which unites the devotee with Krishna. So, in order to reach Krishna, one has to attain the grace of the force, which is known as Radhika Shakti/Lhadini Shakti

Hello Epified, I really appreciate your work. I only had one concern..regarding Shiva Linga.. Many people assume it to be Linga of Shiva.. Which is true but is misunderstood... Istriling..Puling.. Means a symbol from which we differentiate between man and woman or a male and female.. So Shiva Linga means symbol of Shiva... It does not mean Shiva' body part.. Shiva is often referred as Nirakaar..which has no shape...and so on... Shiva Linga is of a particular shape coz.. Everything when it's about to be born or about to die.. Takes the form of oval Sphere cylindrical a mass .. Like we see galaxies... And there is whole science behind how to cons create Shiv Linga or for that matter any God or Goddess sculpture. So please consider my point and try to look more into Shiva Linga... I am sure you will come up with good data like other videos.

"Linga" means "symbol" not private parts. "Kali" comes from the word "Kaal" in Sanskrit meaning eternal time, remember Lord Shiva is also called "Mahakaal". Pitesh Bhanushali, To understand this in much death, you have to start with sada Shiva and adi Shakti. sada Shiva and adi Shakti(energy) are same. Sada Shiva unmanifested one and adi Shakti(is this universe, it is one energy) menifested one of same sada Shiva. This universe is manifested of sada Shiva in the form of adi shakti. This way God(sada Shiva) is one(no second) and infinite, adi Shakti is in energy form, you can think as other side of sada Shiva but same. You might have seen picture where half Shiva and half Shakti as one. durga is equal to adi Shakti, she is not in human form(human form is symbolisam, everything have some meaning), similarly everything goddess(different kind Kali, Laxmi, saraswati etc)derived from adi Shakti, but they are not in human form(human form is symbolisam for easy understanding). Parvati is incarnation of adi Shakti in this earth, she is in human form. In veda Nasadiya Sukta 129 explain this manifastration of sada Shiva, it is big bang theory in Veda.

Hinduism has 3 schools of belief. There are the Vaishnavites who believe that Vishnu or Krishna is the Supreme God. The Shivaites give the same title to Shiv. The 3rd school ie the Shaktas believe that the Devi is the Ultimate Being. In fact, she is even called Adi Parashakti or Adi Param Shakti ( Adi - Primordial ; Param - Supreme; Shakti - Energy ). It is this energy from which the universe (purush or God) was created. All the individual souls (energies) go and unite with the Parashakti ( the energy of the universe ). Vishnu ( The Preserver ) is powerless without Mahalakshmi ( The Goddess of Wealth ) for he cannot preserve a thing without money. Brahma ( The Creator ) cannot create without Saraswati ( The Goddess of Knowledge ) - he needs knowledge of how stuff works to create. Shiva ( the Destroyer ) cannot destroy without his wife Parvati ( Goddess of Power, Valor, Time, Death, War ) - for he needs most of these to destroy. There's a saying that Shiv is Shav ( corpse ) without his Shakti ( energy ). So basicallt Shaktas worship the primordial energy as the raw feminine force. She is pretty yet dangerous if rubbed the wrong way. She is nature, she is untamed, she is the unsatisfied sex, the never ending lust - for truth be told no one can please a woman sexually. the more you give, the more she wants. she is all powerful. she chooses her mate through natural selection. the best survives while the rest perish. she is cruel but that's her law. She is powerful. since the insignificant males try to dominate her she keeps her foot on them (KAALI ). As the society imposes strict rules on natural things like violence, sex and etc she (kaali) shows her tongue in disregard and disobedience of stupid social norms. Being a feminist and atheist i love the Devi - i DO NOT worship her. I just think that she's really cool!
