I think he covered inserts by their "framing size" as opposed by shot type - he gave examples of insert shots in their usual framings as Close Up and Extreme Close Up.
@DwayneDurant
@DwayneDurant 24 күн бұрын
@@foljs5858 Ohhh… I misread that. I thought he was saying he wanted me to insert shots of myself instead of using actually films. Now I see that he was talking about “Insert Shots”. Yes you’re right I grouped “Insert shots” with “close up shots” and “extreme close up shots”

My perfect "Terror" shot is from the original "Aliens" movie (1979). Apparently some movie-goers ran out of the Cinema. Now that is profound. There was the mystery of the demon, without actually seeing it. Terror in the Dark. That is how to make a movie. Imply.

Awesome! Thanks so much, that was awesome. Loved the quality of shots you used in your descriptions too (plus the lighting on them!). Subbed! 🤩🙌 Out of curiosity, coming from a photography background, the term ‘macro’ can seem to often get confused with ‘ability to close focus’. Originally ‘macro’ denoted the size the image would be projected out the back of the lens onto the film (or a digital sensor) compared to the size of the original object. (A ‘1x Macro lens’ would be able to project the image the exact same size the object was, onto the film plate or digital sensor (allowing it to be printed or viewed at a much larger than life like size - hence being called ‘Macro’ or ‘Large’ lens. (Macro lenses (in photography) are sometimes described as 1x - 5x, meaning how big the projection of the image is compared to the size of the original object) - hence small things being able to be seen very large in the end product). - Macro Lenses in photography are sort of closer to a microscope lenses in what they do. Out of curiosity is this the same in video/videography/cinematography, or does the term ‘macro’ simply mean, close up/detail, or is the term ‘macro’ different when talking about types of shots as when talking about lenses? Thanks so much again. Loved it!
@DwayneDurant
@DwayneDurant 24 күн бұрын
Thanks for the support! To answer your question In videography, "macro" usually means the same thing as in photography: it refers to lenses that allow extreme close-ups, capturing small subjects in great detail. However, it can also be used more broadly to describe any detailed, close-up shot, even if a true macro lens isn't used.

I will say the lenses selection isn’t that great for Canons APSC line. If you save a little extra money you can pick up the Sony a6700 for $1.4k, and even cheaper on the used market. Sigma has some great lenses for Sony APSC

@@DwayneDurant I appreciate your help sincerely 🙏 Since I haven't had a camera before and it's my first one, would it be a smart move to throw 1.4k at a camera without lenses? Would it be a good idea to purchase the older models like a6400? Is it a good hybrid camera ?
