Sometimes, walking away is the most Stoic thing you can do. Protecting your peace doesn’t mean you lack love-it means you value your growth

It's fascinating how Stoicism emphasizes controlling our emotions rather than controlling others. To everyone watching this video, I wish you calmness in love and in life! A big thank you to the channel owner for spreading these positive messages. Wishing your channel great success and many new milestones ahead!

Such good insight, analysis and advice, as always. I lived by: Turning the other cheek. Walking the extra mile. Giving more that what is asked. Thinking more of others....than of oneself. At 60 years of age, I had to start seeing reality. I have cut most of my family and friends. The few that are left are worth my time and love and know that I have boundaries. Eight years later, I still need to learn and grow a lot, but have much more peace.

Thank you so much for this...i recently had to stop talking to someone who was draining me emotionally and at the same time disrespecting me. She would call me to talk to her when she had problems yet telling me that i am yoo old to relocate and start a new life and would you believe she is 10 years older than i am? I met her because she is my husbands friend. After the disrespect started i blocked her and my husband is most upset. I stand my ground because i realize that she is hateful and envious and disrespectful. This confirm for me that i was within my rights to stop allowing her access to keep using me and abusing me at the same time. Ghank you.

No one in this world wants negativity. The way you look at a problem is the real issue. You may call someone a bad person, but I see them as a good person displaying bad behavior. Everything is subjective, even this comment. I hope you all find peace in your lives. 💖💖💖

To hold a negative view about one and never letting go of that negativity, is interference with that one. It's like throwing a stone on someone who is climbing up a mountain. It's very damaging to one's progress. It's a downward pull. Has great consequences.

I have a lot to share about this, but I'll just say that a lesson I've learned (the hard way) is that if someone decides not to like you, friend, or family, run away from them. You are not going to make them like you ever again. And, the longer you try to stay with them, the worse they will make it for you. They won't tell you to your face that they hate you because they are cowards; and, that will also make them look bad. _“If you don't feel it, flee from it. Go where you are celebrated, not merely tolerated.”_ ― Paul F. Davis
