I want to say that anyone can change, because I did, without going in to background I was completely different from my wife and not taught by my dad on how to be a good husband or expectations. After 10 yrs of being a poor husband, I started to step up but by then, she had already checked out. She cheated on me for a year at year 15, I stuck it out for another 7 hoping her heart would turn back to me but because she can’t manage her soul/heart she couldn’t steer it back to me. We are getting a divorce now. I became the guy she wanted/needed, and now she doesn’t want me. I’m focused on moving forward this year. God bless…

Coming to the realization that some people come into our lives or vice versa for a season and a reason. It becomes problematic when we overstay what was intended. Often times we're too close to see when it's time to walk away. Plus our hearts and minds are not in alignment. We cloud our judgement with all the investments and so much uncertainty for what's to come. The whole time hurting inside because even with this person in our life, we're still lonely emotionally and sometimes physically. But to be honest, even when walking away is what's best, it's hard because you have to mourn the loss (if not for the person) for the relationship. No one wants to sign-up for grief.

I can’t get over how ACCURATE you are! Wow…. Like nail on the head! I was with someone that I wasn’t really attracted to for almost 10 years 🫣 I tried to convince myself that I was since he was a good man, but over time the intimacy really suffered and it took a toll on both of us. He knew deep down I wasn’t really attracted and I envied couples that were truly compatible. We were really unhappy and the relationship became toxic/abusive. Long story short, don’t force it! So much wisdom in this video. One thing that people often say when trying to convince you that looks and physical attraction don't matter is that the intense physical attraction that you can feel in the beginning fades anyway, so you shouldn't take it into account when choosing someone. But the thing is, in my observation anyway, is that while it does fade, it also comes back at times, at least in happy partnerships. I have had several elderly people in happy marriages tell me that, to them, their partner was still beautiful/handsome 30, 40, 50 years on.....

If one person is a foodie and the other couldn't care less if he ate cereal for dinner every evening, the one who cooks will feel unappreciated and the other will feel like there is always a lot of hoopla and time lost for nothing. yeah, I'm an atheist and my ex was very very religious and needless to say, it ended up being the end of us bc we were unwilling to compromise. it taught me the lesson right then and there. i haven't looked for religious men since and in dating, haven't allowed myself to attach to one emotionally. I learned that everyone needs to find the non negotiables for their love life and make them hard and fast rules, otherwise, we'll allow ourselves to enter s situation where we'll inevitably get hurt.

The right person, wrong time video and the one God has for you delivered my answers after I fasted and started spending more personal time with God. I’ve been able to hear God clearly and my person and I have spoken as well after not speaking for some time. We are in a mutual place about having genuine love for one another and being intentional about working to be better for one another. Omg!! about not being attracted to a man... i been and done that a few times in my life and the feeling was awful. Because my friends and relatives were saying that i am too picky and that i should give a chance to kind men who likes me and so on... And also because i had a low self esteem i didn't believe that the ones i like they could like me back. So i was dealing with the ones that liked me a lot but i was not attracted to them :( i was so unhappy, i get easily iritated with them i didn't even present them to my friends because i was not proud of them. And now i am in the same situation again! This man he is very kind, generous, we have good sex but still im not really attracted to him.. And plus he has 3 children and i really don't want a man with a huge baggage. 😒
