In some ways I agree. Tarja might have been the original definitive front woman of Nightwish, but to be honest, her "solo" career has done her proud ... I don't think Tarja would be where she is today without Nightwish. Had she remained, then I think she might have gone a bit stale ... :)

As a fairly new Nightwish fan, it's wild to see the contrast between Tarja and Floor. They're both amazing singers with Tarja having an angelic appearance and voice while Floor looks like a Viking warrior woman and just belts out the songs. I really like them both to be honest, but I can definitely see how long term fans would have a preference one way or another as their styles really do contrast.
