@@noaymben4557 pulsars have existed for thousands of million years, billions. Also a neutron star is more a dead star than a star. 99% of stars don't pulse. Quasars pulse too and they're not stars. 1400 years in the scale of cosmic time is absolutely nothing. Less than the blink of an eye.
@helicocktor

@syed izharahmad oh wow you linked me to wikipedia, you must be an expert in neutron stars. I'm just a curious dummy, so tell me something. Given RS=2GM/c^2, what is the schwarzschild radius of a neutron star with, let's say, 1.5 Msolar? . Calculating the Schwarzschild of a given mass should be easy for an expert like you. We could delve into non-relativistic equations of hydrostatic equilibrium to figure out the structure of a spherically symmetric non-rotating neutron star when you're done with the first question. We're not even into millisecond-pulsar level physics yet, should be easy for you. A stat to consider, over 90% scientists are either agnostic or atheists. When you understand how the universe works, you tend to not believe in a God. Most of them read like they were literary works written by 12 year olds.

The Quran describes a star by "The one who knocks": [Quran 86.1-3] And the heaven and the "Knocker" (Tarek in Arabic طارق) How could you know about the "Knocker"? The piercing star (Thakeb in Arabic). The Arabic word "Thukb ثقب" means a hole; "Thakeb ثَّاقِبُ" means the one who makes the hole. The Quran is describing a knocking star that makes a hole. Pulsars are rotating neutron stars. As more matter falls into a neutron star its mass increases and as its mass increases its gravity increases. But gravity is actually curvature of spacetime. A neutron star distorts spacetime. As more matter falls into a neutron star its distortion increases. A point will be reached where distortion would have grown so much that it makes a hole in spacetime. How could an illiterate man who lived 1400 years ago have known that pulsars make holes in spacetime ؟

Those are the cosmic wave emissions which were captured in the blinking way due to it's mind blowing rotational speeds and you're hearing the converted frequency which was recorded to audible range. Yeah. This is really very interesting !!
@the_hedonist3575
@the_hedonist3575 5 жыл бұрын
Well, you don't really hear it's rotation. Pulsars are special in the sense that their EM emissions are strongest at their poles, so each sound, or "tap" is just one of the poles aligning with the radio telescope listening to it. You wouldn't hear this from a normal star, like our Sun.

@@gordonramsay771 i mean yah. The actual signals are radio pulses that are then converted to sound so you can hear them because it helps us understand it better. The pulsars themselves are silent because yah know sound doesn't travel in space, cause its a vacuum.

ASL PEKANBARU it is interesting that the Quran uses this word TRQ which means smth like ‘hitting/knocking’ and in 1967 when Jocelyn Bell heard radio signals that she believed it was this kind of sound created by aliens, she eventually discovered it was a Neutron star and named it Pulsar which comes from The word Pulsate Pulsation etc. This surah in the Quran also puts emphasis on how incredible the universe is created and also underlines that humans should think about their existence.

That fact about magnetars is wrong, it's not their gravity that's stronger than a normal neutron star, but rather their magnetism, hence the name magnetar.

Ooo! ALLAH. Imagine for a moment. If such a star were near our earth? But Allah loves humans so much that He has kept such a star far away from humans. And some people say that it all happened by itself. Such a star would become close to humans if it were to form itself. But the creator of all these has created everything by making wonderful calculations. So that humans do not suffer.

Neutron stars are so dense-both in their actual matter (which is so dense scientists are trying to even get a model of how it works) and their energy. They’re usually about the size of Manhattan and can way as much-or more than-the _fucking sun._ Not to mention how fast they rotate. It’s a wonder they can hold themselves together. The universe is just so wonderful, isn’t it?

By the sky and the knocker And what can make you know what is the knocker? It is the piercing star Quran 86:1-3 the word 'Tariq' literally translates to knocker the reason it is substituted with "night comer" is because when someones comes over at night they knock on the door. 1400 years ago there were no door bells lol. either way stars are freakin amazing

'sounds are not fake they're real sounds' - no, they aren't sounds of any kind. They are flashes of photons (light, xrays, gamma rays etc) which represent the rotation of the pulsar. No 'sound' from a pulsar can ever travel through space, because space is a vacuum and sound only travels through matter.

Clearly these objects don't make these "sounds" in space where there aren't any air molecules to vibrate into sound - you make reference to shifting the frequency into our audible range, can you provide any more info as to how this is possible and how the choices of sounds in the "shifting" are made? Very interesting work, btw! Thanks for posting.
