Jackie you always give such good tips. You make stamping words look so easy but mine rarely look neat and clean. They tend to bleed. I’m using Stampin up paper and ink. Keep showing that simple can still be beautiful!

Great cards, great tips, especially aligning the sentiment, up to now I've relied on the 'line up as best you can and hope' method. Also, stamping first, then embossing. A great video all round.

Loved your tips for cards! I am definitely going to use them. Especially the way you make sure your text is straight. I need to use my grid that I have. Jackie, here is the only way I can remember which way to fold the card stock after scoring "Mountain in the Middle."

I did not know there was one way one is supposed to fold the card base after scoring. I saw a video somewhere and this is how I remember which way to fold: When one scores the card base there is an indentation in the paper. The person in the video called this indentation "The Valley." She said, "Always fold the paper away from "The Valley." That's how I remember to fold the paper the correct way! Hope this helps others!

I heard that the theory of folding cardstock "valley" side on the outside is that the scoring loosens the paper's fibers so that when they're spread from folding there won't be any tears. That's how it makes the fold neat. TY for your tips!
