I have been married for 5 years and before that another 5 years with my husband and we have never been able to get pregnant. A month ago we went to get his sperm checked and his motility is not good and we went for accupuncture it is very expensive. So we decieded to just try to be healthy and cut all alcohol and taking lots of vitamins and ginseng and ashwagandha. All ovulation tests test for LH, which surges 12-36 hours BEFORE you ovulate. As far as I know, all ovulations kits use this same hormone test. You can get these strips in bulk for around $20 on Amazon. If you find out when you are ovulating right when you start to conceive you take a lot of time a guesswork out of the game, especially if you have a healthy reproductive systems. If anyone is having difficulty conceiving, this would definitely be my first step.

I want the right now answer too. But I've been taking the steps to become healthier. I've been taking prenatals & omega 3s for about 6 months now. I have increased my water and decreased my caffeine. I have been tracking my ovulation and nothing is happening yet. My husband finally decided to take vitamins too and he is working on his health more. I'll probably have tons of questions for you :) For now I'm still trying to avoid all herbs, etc. The reason I'm so paranoid is because I'm sure I had an early miscarriage from taking oil of oregano and high doses of vitamin c about 8 months ago (I was getting a sore throat)... also a few months after that I was using a menthol cream for sore muscles and I got my period 4 days early (my cycle was always very consistent). I've never heard of Damiana! Maca root we did try (a little bit) about a year ago and it didn't seem to have too much effect on us, but I have heard good things!

Life Lover hi! Sorry for the late reply. My husband took the capsule form, an organic Tribulus with no other additives. Sometimes it may take a while (a few months) for men to see a big difference or sometimes it just takes a couple weeks. I think my husband took it for two months but it was hard to get him to take it every day! I kept having to remind him! I also got him to take Maca root powder every once in a while too.

Im trying for 4 years now. And i really want to be pregnant. I would be so happy. We are trying so hard to get pregnant but i cant see why its not happening. Then one more thing we went to our doctor n the doctor say my husband sperm count is very low. And for a month now he is drinking a porridge made out of egg and flour. Any advice on what more should he be drinking for we to get pregnant. He is 25 and im 22 plz any advice on what should i be drinking too. I have this app im using to track my period its called GLOW. And i hv these tablets im using prenatal tablets and One a day for woman. Plz any advice. This is my second cycle trying to get pregnant.

Did you continue to take ashwagandha in your pregnancy? I've heard conflicting things about taking it in pregnancy. I've heard that it may cause issues in high doses but I also heard if the right dose is used it can have huge benefits for pregnancy. So I dont know...

I should stop stressing my self too much.I am eating most healthy food to build up my strength. Above all my doctors told me I am sexual active well at my age now.my doctors are very wonderful in boosting. Wow I had no idea how hard it could be to become pregnant when there's nothing wrong with your reproductive systems. I got pregnant the first time my boyfriend and I were "together" so we really had no trouble at all, but I'm so happy for you finally getting pregnant!
