Worship Drumming Yes, beginner, and just for practice at home. I go to the lesson, where the instructor has an acoustic kit 😁👍I have played several other instruments, and know that quality of the sound is very important for me to enjoy playing/learning. It is also important that it’s as quiet as possible (living with roomies) to practice. Not trying to go cheap. Short girl (if that matters)🤪👍

Great advice on learning worship music. I am also the Worship Drummer for my church. One aspect of drumming that I strive for and I teach my students is versatility. You know that within one set list we usually have two or three different grooves and obviously different tempos. It takes good skill to do this well. But like you said, it’s much more important to have our heart in the right place and give God the glory. BTW my name is John. What is your name?
