There are insincere yet "friendly" churches with hidden behaviors you'll never know, hear or learn about. The compromised don't ever tell on each other unless they're either caught or have to. Maybe I know too much, is also what I'm saying. I'm not just wagging my fingers around on a keyboard to stir enough breeze for dusting purposes. Here is what I have been doing lately: I watch Christian movies, listen to sermons by Dr. Charles Stanley (highly recommended!), listen to gospel music, pray on my knees more regularly, start my day with the Word of God, follow my devotional, guard and manage my thought-life/emotions more effectively (that`s where Satan attacks believers), maintain an attitude of gratefulness (getting God`s peace and joy in return) and just stay close to Him throughout my day by talking to Him. As a result, I do hear His voice more often, and He reveals Himself in other unique ways as well. Ask the Holy Spirit to make you sensitive and aware of His revelations. He will do it! If anyone could pray for me that'd be cool. I'm the one who walks out of Church after it's over right away because of social anxiety. I don't feel I'm good enough for a bible study either. I Pray every day to be less selfish and have the strength to obey God. Any prayers would help. Thank you!

praying for you. at about 20:30 she talks about not criticizing ourselves. take control of your tongue against yourself. don't speak out anxiety or your not good enough or your selfish or you don't have strength to obey God. start speaking out the truths of the Word of God. we cannot truly become like Jesus and be empowered to enforce the kingdom of God on earth unless we embrace the new identity that we have in Christ. We have been created anew, and are empowered against the devices of the enemy and we have authority to destroy the enemy's works here on earth. That changes everything. Being born again is only the first part of our new creation. Our mind has to be fully renewed to the truth of what Jesus says about us, and who He is in us. If that doesn't take place, our mind and body will not be operating in the new identity of Christ in us. We're no longer our own. It's Jesus in us that conquers evil around us. It's only when we allow the Word to fully renew our mind so that our body is in subjection and in obedience to the Word, that Jesus can empower us so that we can be full-on ambassadors of the kingdom of God here on Earth. Then and only then our new identity can be noticed by others because we're letting the Lord continue to be here amongst men, bringing his kingdom on earth and destroying the works of the devil. Col 3:1-3, 1Pet2:9, Gen 1:27, 1jn3:1,2a, Gal 3:27,28 Col 2:9,10 Eph 1:5

You hit the nail on the head. God has led me in the same areas you described. Minimal to no news, no TV at all, minimal secular music, no toxic relationships, very good boundaries, lost some people, listen to Bible daily, listen to good books/podcasts by mature Christians-NOT because I’m better but rather because I CANT HANDLE IT! My eye and ear gates are very sensitive. Oh the quiet mind and peace I’ve found by talking to God all day about everything- my anger, irritation, my fears, despair, any conflict with other people, and concern for future. And the result has been a quiet mind about 80% of the time. Thank you for sharing! 20:09

I resonate so much with this because... I converted to Christianity in February 2024. My bf just broke up with me 2 weeks ago... He left me when I needed him the most...I seeked for "my friends" to help me and hear me and...bum! I realised they are not friends at all! ... And I always looked for them first. I just had a dancing presentation yesterday with a dancing group that is "dark" (veeery talented and artistic but dark); I was there for 6 years. I also have a "big mouth", I talked bad about my ex and his family and the bad things he used to do. I studied sacred music and I've been in a church choir for like 3 years but it is far from where I live, I spend aloooot of time going there, singing in mass and coming back and they are not very friendly or talkative either. So... I'm just tired, I feel my life is changing...God is changing it.I've made a lot of mistakes, and didn't choose my friends and bf correctly, etc. So... I'm quitting my dancing lessons and spending too much time and money on it. I'm not reaching for my "friends" anymore. If they want my friendship, they have my number and they now know what my beliefs are. I'm working on closing my mouth. I'm not driving for hours to sing in the church choir so they don't even say goodbye when mass finishes. I will try to close fb or not using it and stop pleasing people by sharing my stories and life all the time. I will pray a lot! and focus on working and keep on studying music. I'm going to be alone but I really feel I need to quiet my life down so I can hear God better. Please pray for me 🙏 if you can. I'll pray for all the people who are going through changes in their lives and it is not easy. Jesus Christ it's King!

You did the right thing! When we accept Jesus Christ and submit to Him we experience so much transformation and the veil is lifted! “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.” 1 Peter 1:7 NLT you are being purified! Your life and the things of this world aren’t for you! Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to discern and that’s what you are doing! It’s not easy, not comfortable but it’s the best choice I ever made and I am so happy to hear you made the choice to believe despite what others think! One day they will understand when He comes back! Every knee will bow! ❤keep going He has your back 💕

When I turned to God in 2015. I was very into my sports train. At this point I was about to turn 55 and sport had always been a big part of my life. But I started getting feelings that God wanted me to give up my training routine. But it took me a year before I gave up training. The crazy thing is you can start to rationalise things from a very human and limited position. In my case I was thing that my training would and had kept me fit and healthy over the years. But as God says in the Bible ''is my arm too short?'' (If I remember rightly He says hand. Not arm). But basically He is asking is it outside of His capabilities. Which of course it is not. But to do as He asked me to do has blessed me many ways. I also realised, as good as it was, my training had become a god in my life and I could not see because I enjoyed serving it.

@boogalooo You are in no position to acknowledge your wrongs unless you are willing to 'magnify' them before your otherwise myopic vision and realize just how inherently evil you are - having been born of the cursed seed of your fallen first father. This is what leads one to true repentance which is marked by the tell-tale signs of 'Godly sorrow' of a contrite heart and a broken spirit. And this is what ultimately leads one to forsake one's wrongs, one by one, as one grows increasingly closer to God by remaining in His holy Fellowship and earnestly seeking His surpassing Righteousness in everything and substituting for all of one's forsaken wrongs with the faithful obedience of them so that one is restored to His image and likeness once again and thus readied for His holy and eternal Kingdom to come.

This was helpful to me. I have been months into spending an hour with the Lord. Through his word I receive revelation and guidance which I was amazed by. I thought it could only happen to other people. Holy Spirit started speaking to me about many things. But I kinda ruined it when I was looking into the Mendez brothers and the horrific abuse they suffered by their own parents from when they were little. It hurt me so much in my heart. I had a bad dream. Woke up and spend time w the Lord and he assured me all is well but that the heart is his temple. It needs to be clean. That content is not meant for me, maybe for someone else who could help, but not meant for me to consume it. He washed me clean through worship and our session. Then I open KZbin and see this video and think oh! This could help. I need to be judgmental about the things that I do to keep my life as a warm welcoming place for the Lord Jesus to dwell in. (Beware of spiritual counsel- some are witchcraft called "new age religion ") we your Bible and spend more time in God's presence that's how your love for her will be more for God's (Jesus) presence His spirit) When you spend more time with HIM your emotions will get more in check then your relationship for Jesus will get more stronger. If that young lady is for you, God will send her back when your spirit is in the right place. Because you love her more than you love God so your flesh made her an Idol. How I know this because I felt once upon a time the way you felt and I had to be delivered from a spirit of Idolatry and soul ties( when your sexually involved with a person you are exchanging a spiritual connection) that's why God wants us married with a mate He chooses. I'm praying for you.

We forget we have been cleansed and forgiven of our past sins. I haven't heard these verses used anywhere. Should be more known. Thank you for your video. It helped me to stop and think about my spiritual growth. Vaya con Dios.

#1 is my greatest nemesis. Although I don't watch TV and don't have social media except KZbin, I spend way too much time on KZbin on non-essentials, instead of ministering on KZbin in the comment section (which I do alot anyways). I caught myself in distraction almost every day last week so I dropped what I was wasting time on and went directly into another room to read the Bible aloud. Giving God time in our lives isn't just a checkoff box but rather a lifestyle. Thank you for this video. It spoke deep to me, Sis.

Stopped listening to the radio 40 years ago and now listen to USB teaching or praise music; well no problem with some people dont hang with them; the Holy Spirit told me to get rid of some of my DVDs and this is ongoing SLOWLY stopped reading junk books and now got God's books like Mary Kay Baxter's books, Merlin Carothers books on Praise and some teaching on youtube, but now trying to cut this down a bit and go straight to my Bible the wisdom book. thanks for your video the books on praise speaks about complaining but to praise before it happens is so valuable.

Jennifer: I just “happened upon” this video tonight…when the Holy Spirit brought it to my attention. As a 75 yr old woman who has been a Christian since I was a child….. I have learned many of these things. However, seeing a young woman like yourself being so knowledgeable about these principles (AND sharing them so articulately) I can see for sure that “You have been with Jesus!” I believe that the way you have organized and presented this information will bless many. I loved it! God bless you.

This is so clear and well explained, thank you! I am currently struggling with the tendency to judge people all the time... The thing is I think I have the "gift of discernment", I can see every little good and bad parts in people, and I very easily detect subtle hypocrisy. So that is hard not to get frustrated and to concentrate on the good sides of them. But I know I have to work on it. 🙏

Suffering a heart attack and subsequent bypass surgery , I had to take my thoughts captive. Every twinge had me thinking what I was going to do if I had another heart attack. What was my plan B if it happened in the middle of the night in a small town where we don't have a hospital nor an emergency doctor. This is only one example of what was going on in my mind. But God gave me a promise from Ps 118: 17. I shall not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord. I realised the enemy would plant fear and doubt in my mind. One day I made a decision that there would be no Plan B,C,D or XYZ. God was Plan A-Z and I would remind Him of His promise. When the enemy comes in like a flood, speak Jesus to the situation! Guard your heart( even if a bit wonky😁) and mind and your healing will come. I'm not completely out of the woods but in the meantime when I go for a check up, wait in a hospital queue or see the Dr it is an opportunity to encourage someone. That, in turn, energises me!

I agree with everything but I all paused at number four, there is a line between criticizing and rebuking. As Christian’s we need to rebuke our brothers and sisters and know that if our brothers and sisters rebuke us that we need to take that to heart and pray about it. I do feel convicted about overthinking. That one hit me hard, and you are right. Glory be to God for who He is, that He wants to help us get out of our sin by showing us where we need to change.

He commands us to love one another. The greatest of these is love… I’d pause on rebuking - leave to god

@ where does it say in the Bible we are not to rebuke our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ? Rebuking is love. Coddling leads to damnation.

I clicked on this video because I was waiting for God to speak to me more clearly and I have eliminated a lot of the things you mentioned about quitting. But when you got to #7 I didn’t know that overthinking and doubt is reasoning. I also learned last year that doubt is pride.
