Oh my late mom was different. She apologizes like “ Ngwa ndo or Gbayaluzianu” She does ask if you’re still crying? then she apologizes plus bribes you. 😊 I learnt that from her. I tried to apologize to my child hug and then tell her the reason I smacked her. It really helps them understand

My late mom was the kindest soul. I don't remember her ever yelling or raising her hand. How i wish I could do more for her now. There's a void I find difficult to deal with. Not everyone is blessed to have a loving parent. Some are still Struggling to deal with a parent even after 4 decades of life. Mom who says to her child, u all are the same for me while clearly showing partiality towards certain children. Always blindly following husband and forcing children to follow him coz that’s easy but standing up against all the bad he does is difficult. So she will choose to go the easy way. At least that will safeguard her life.
