scroll timeline is not in my menu to change that setting. why would that be? did they move it?

Thanks for the tips. I wish I would have done this weeks ago. After I updated FCP it crashes constantly Every time I try to color correct and sometimes just at random. I'm a wedding videographer so this is killing my business. I can't seem to find any fixes on line that work. IS THERE A FIX THAT WORKS?😊

It's good to add that if you want to delete one of your text presets, you can't do it directly in FCP. You have to go to /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Motion/Library/Text Styles/ and delete manually.

I prefer making a backup of the original version when I first get it... I also put it in a folder, but I don't zip the folder.. Instead I use Dick Utility to make a .dmg, disk image, of the folder... In the past I've had problems with zip files getting corrupted, so I don't rely on them much anymore...
