Real name of "huahine" is "matairea",means yellow wind. 😊

Actually the direct translation is "Jaunty wind" or "playful wind, as in a' rearea, which means to party. Rea is also the colour yellow but not in this context of the island name of Matairea. Hua is not pregnant, Haapu is pregnant, Hua is flower bud, Hine is girl in this Context a "girl's flower". BTW. Armond, the tour guide passed away last year.

The name Huahine literally means a woman's vagina and not a pregnant woman. The original name of the island was Matairea meaning the pleasant or joyful wind. Nice video😊
