This might not be important but I splurged on stud earrings. I used to buy the cheap ones that come in a set of about 5-10 from like the beauty supply store....and they made my ear holes very black and gave me wounds and they fade. The ''crystal stone'' on it changes its color too and its not as shiny. I went to macys and spent $99 on some real studs and 2 years later I'm still wearing it and its still clean and nice. Its hard sometimes but its worth it.

I was just about to put this. I think the thing about many people who have designer bags is because they are designer people take care of them better. I buy my purses from a wholesaler, and while they are cheap they are not cheap quality. I've been wearing the same bag going on three years now and it only cost me $10. You would think with the way I throw mines around it would be all torn up but it's still going strong a couple of years later lol.
@Karen.c.h7 жыл бұрын
I don't think the name on the bag (and I have a nice size designer collection) is as important as the quality of the bag. Although I will say if you purchase a bag from a fashion house, generally they have repair services available.
@sapphirecamui64477 жыл бұрын
You're right. However with some sellers, you really can't know. indeed a designer bag can break the next day - while a cheap one can last for ever. You really need to check its sewing, lining, zippers, and what other details it has. Taking care of your stuff will also make their life longer.

ouch to that vegan comment, queen! just came across your channel + the content seems wonderful for your audience. I would just be mindful that there are vegans who will watch this video + might be offended by your stab at veganism. I, myself, am not typically offended by people's anti-vegan rhetoric but in mentioning fast fashion, veganism is nowhere near one of the topic practices destroying the environment + lives. fast fashion (pretty much all big name brands (including makeup) + one stop shop stores like H&M, primark, etc. also to include the leather industry) itself causes death, disorders, disease + disrupts entire communities. I'm not trying to be the vegan police or the environmental police but I am all for educating wholly + not taking a stab at the parts we disagree/don't identify with. but in the same breath, I respect that you are posting content that many seem to benefit from. keep shining!

I respect your opinions and thanks for sharing. I have a different perspective on 2 tips you shared. Absolutely no reason you need to splurge on books. join your local libraries and you get the books from there that you can read on your Kindle or get them as audiobooks. Your library will order the book if they don't have it. I also disagree about "splurging" on home decor, but you did say go to tjmax or home goods which I agree with but that's not splurging I think. And lastly, I couldn't agree more on the winter jacket. After my first taste of winter in Ohio I happily forked over the $700 to get a Canada Goose jacket. Sure I look like a caterpillar when I wore it, but not having to layer up underneath and be warm and toasty? Priceless.
@MrsBrittanyGold7 жыл бұрын
I see your point but I like physical books that I can go back to over and over. I like to write in them and take notes too. You can't do that with a library books but It was more about splurging on education and bettering yourself, however you do that. About the home decor part, it was about making your place look nice so we agree on that lol. The title is what gets people to click, the advice sticks. lol That's the plan.

What I think is worth the money is a safe,reliable way to get around. Be it a free ride bus pass, a car,bike, whatever. It should be safe,comfortable and reliable. Another thing that is worth the money is self defense classes. Take home repair courses.take auto mechanic courses. Take first aid courses. Learn a trade.it makes you highly employable. Also with knowing how to fix things around the house saves money long term. Same with car repairs. If you know how to fix it yourself, it saves you lots of money. Sounds stupid, but it's not. Self defense is a great idea.especially if you live in a high crime area.

It is easy to get organic food, as that is regulated. A retailer can't just slap the organic label on food. For cosmetics or skincare products, the term organic is a misnomer, as it is unregulated. For food though, always go organic or at least go by the Clean 15/Dirty Dozen list :)

Name brand sneakers are different. I meant more so leather work shoes if you worked in an office. Unless those sneakers were for working out or a specific activity, fashion sneakers are not a good investment in my opinion. Unless you can flip them and make more money but that isn't every shoe.

Lmfao I have to highly disagree about the vegan leather statement. I've seen True Cost as well, but we can't deny that the animal agriculture industry isn't horrific in itself as well. That contributes to environmental destruction even more greatly from ocean dead zones, to climate change, to world hunger. And that there's so much animal fur and skin USED in the fashion industry. It's a whole holocaust in itself that needs attention and a shit to be given about, so let's drop the uneducated statements and let's cancel out one cruel and inhumane industry so we can lessen and eliminate the other, shall we?

Would you recommend splurging on hair Too? I can kinda be a cheapy from time to time but if its going to be similar to a quality bag than maybe I should invest!?!
@MrsBrittanyGold7 жыл бұрын
Rae Ace it depends on your budget and what you can afford. I do believe in investing in your look because if you look good you feel good. Hair is an expense but I think there are smart ways to save and budget for hair. Should you invest in it, yes, to look good but splurge no. There are many hair companies and stylist with affordable hair and services. It will Justis take a little saving up from time to time to get the look you want. Unice hair is a good hair company that is reasonable if you're looking for bundles.
@ralonsaadkins2127 жыл бұрын

I been alot of places and concerts and its wasn't whatever.. It was like ok that's over. Now what and felt like I wasted money.. My best memories where lil silly things like picking strawberry and figs in the yard with my kids.. Making pizza dough with the family.. Random water gun fights with dollar water sprayers.. Having a small food fight lol my birthday cake war with a whole new meaning lol.. Also not every1 wants more.. Minimalist like myself want less not more.. Only thing I want is to get back to basic as fast as I possibly can.. Like I want a farm in a small town with good doctors that's it.. If I can have a Simple life somewhere where there good doctor's for my kids im happy.. All I need is my loved ones!!!
