I only have 3 horses so far but been lucky that I have at least 1 trait for each race so far. Training horses is a pain but I still got quests to finish so I'm slowly going through all of it. Is it worth looking for food? Or should you only do it for dailies and while looking for chests?

Hi @LuLovesDoctor, That's so cool that you've had ticks so far! And yes, food is a great way to level lower level horses, but once you reach lvl 10 + it doesn't give enough xp to warrant it's collection outside extra quick club points. The best way to level up a horse is to train it through show jumping and cross country courses. Since this task can be very boring and grindy, I usually listen to a podcast while training my horses and have a short term goal in mind for each training session, like gaining one level in one particular stat.

@@thegamermemoirs I'm used to star stable training so at least this one is more fun! I have been watching a lot of youtube and listening to audio books as I go! I'm saving my gems for a 10 horse pegasus pull so hopefully after that I have at least one horse per personality trait to actually properly get into racing. at the moment I'm mainly doing it for fun and focusing on one horse per week to level up, doing the dailies and weeklies as I go. The best horse this week for me is my starter so I don't think I'm going to do that well lol.

Since your starter horse is your highest one, it's probably best to race with it this week. Just remember: the evervale warmbloods will never be able to perform as well as the other breeds due to having base stats and no mastery bonuses. Rather focus on these breeds if you've got them: quaters, frieshian sports, clydesdales, fantasies, especially the vulcan. They will perform better, and you will be getting some in your 10 pull in anyway.
