Just found your channel and love it already. You say things others don't and you don't say what EVERYONE else is saying. You have new ideas and thoughts and it's a bonus you put God in it. Thank you! and thank you for coming up with new ideas for me to do.

I desperately needed this word today 🥹🙏💕..momma of 4 here and struggling...been missing church for 3 months..my husband isn't a believer,and needing support i dont have IRL ,and just desperately seeking the Lord, trying to hold it all together and find peace/balance... What missing,is sisterhood/fellowship .and I found a sense of that when you shared about your personal toxic traits and glorified God . Thank you for helping me refocus on Jesus and keep the Lord at center.god bless you and your beautiful family.please keep sharing your faith and walk. It's so very encouraging. 🥹💕🙏🫶💗

Keep praying for your husband. You're keeping your eyes on the Lord, and that's the best thing you can do for him, the children, and yourself. The enemy wants to rob our joy and steal away our hope in what Christ can do through the prayers and quiet example of a wife. Steep yourself in 1 Timothy, Titus, 1 Peter, Ephesians, and the Proverbs. Through no power or work of my own the Lord did an incredible work in the life of my husband. Glory to God! Hang on to the Lord, and I will be praying for some support for you from a godly older woman who has the time and wisdom to pour into you.

@rarelotus9737 please keep bringing your kids to church. Having that influence, extra guided help and connection and socialisation is so helpfull and a lovely thing you can give your kids. It may be boring but when they understand how helping it is, they will appreciate it. Maybe some big changes are needed in your life. Anyway i grew up with god being mocked by non believers and atheists, I found a big lack from my childhood as my parents where neglectful and violent in each their way- but I needed someone else to rely on and have found God myself. And even if you aren’t that type of parent, i firmly believe every child should know God as their first parent. God is everything and having someone non biased to rely on is so so so important through every life aspect.

I am a true minimalist at heart. I’ve been on a minimalist journey ever since we became empty nesters after our five kids grew up and left home, but then I watch all these amazing content creators on fall decor, and home decor and then I want to buy everything but then I just go watch minimalist videos and makes me realize, no I don’t need anything more.

It’s so easy to fall into that trap! My family lives in New England and autumn is magical. I’ve found a great deal of pleasure decorating with little things we find outside- leaves, acorns, dried grasses. We toss them back outside to compost later.

Gratitude is indeed the highest form of prayer. Each morning and evening I write all that I'm grateful, even what may seem simple. Sending Blessings to all 🙏 ❤
@jacquelinemcgowan81643 ай бұрын
Being grateful is your saving grace, this has kept me going through the worst times of my life, it really has, to try to be positive in a very hard place/time is nigh impossible but you can find things to be grateful for, if you had diarrhoea horrible I know but you could be grateful you have a sink with clean water to wash your hands, that you even have a toilet and a bed to sleep in to recover. Being grateful does not change your circumstances but change how you deal with the circuamstances. Kept me.

I just found your channel and have enjoyed doing a deep dive into your videos. What a breath of fresh air to the internet! One thing you mentioned in this video was the jealousy that you have struggled with. Over the course of my life, I have also struggled with this. Wanting more, better, etc. One day I was sitting in church and clearly felt the Holy Spirit impressing upon me the words, "jealously = discontented heart". That has really stuck with me. When I am jealous, my heart is discontented and not appreciating or focusing on what I have been given. It always leads back to my heart posture on how I am viewing what God has blessed me with. Am I grateful or do I view what I have as lacking. Thanks for your videos and the content. It's much needed in this world!

yeah! Go outside and have gratitude. Those are two things that I think are way important that people forget about all the time. I love that you go for a walk or bike walk with your kids after breakfast. That is beautiful. It is cool about you putting your phone away from sight. Raising my two oldest, I didn't even have a smart phone until they were at a certain age, so with my tiniest now, I have had to remind my husband that I don't want us in our phones when raising him just as we were in the past with our oldest two. Good video!

None of these are toxic traits- they’re being human in our rush rush society. You’re blessing us by saying you want something different for yourself and your family. Let’s normalize slower and simpler family lives. We chose fewer activities for our kids and more quiet time and family time. Our kids are all close as adults now - they developed their relationships while growing up without all the rush. We never missed weekends together due to travel sports. And mainly, you’re right, trust the Lord with the results of all this. He is so faithful. He’s led you to live his values, not our culture’s values. And all quiet moments count as time spent with Him.

Allah says: My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Vying for increase distracts you. Until you visit the graveyards. No indeed, you will know. Again: No indeed, you will know. No indeed, If you knew with the knowledge of certainty. You would see the Inferno. Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. Then, on that Day, you will be questioned about the pleasures.
