Haha I stopped watching at the first sign. How could positive thinking be a sign of intelligence? Even a being with an average intelligence would consider all the possibilities and outcomes of a thought, action or decision. How could someone ignore that all actions and decisions may have both negative or poitive consequences and thinking positively will not magically eliminate any negative obstacles or hardships that maybe awaiting you on your path to success. Therefore, a little intelligence would dictate to consider the positive and negative so you can acknowledge the negative outcomes a head of time which in turn would allow you to correct the negative or/and have a second plan in advance. So positive thinking is for the dumbest of all.

I don't agree with "thinking positively". I think intelligent people are some of the most emotionally frustrated people out there. It has to do with an analytical mind. If you have a tendency to analyse you will over analyse your own thoughts, feelings and emotional responses. It also has to do with an inability to connect with the average person since as a highly intelligent person you can't find much in common with them. And that can cause a great deal of depression and social anxiety. You're also more likely to be eccentric, further alienation ensues. People of average intelligence are more likely to accept what life throws at them since they won't have a tendency to analyse. They are more likely to accept the happy with the sad since they find meaning in the average lifestyle. And they're more likely to fit in with the people around them as they share a great deal of things in common with the average person. And they're more likely as a result to exhibit social and emotional intelligences rather than the linguistic and logical intelligences of a stereotypical genius with a high IQ.
