Just came here to say that I was able to give birth to my 7 pound baby boy with zero drugs thanks to your course! Educating myself to make the best decisions and take the mystery out of child birth made it such an empowering and enjoyable experience!

Ahhhhh Bridget! I have been watching your videos since my first baby in 2020. And I’m pregnant with my third now too! 33 weeks pregnant 🤎 currently. Blessed birthing mama 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

It’s crazy how you just got this video out just when I started doubting myself after a hard weekend of dealing with airports and traveling, I’m 31 weeks but I felt so tired after flying back from thanksgiving that I started doubting myself and getting really anxious, thank you for reminding me I’ve been working on my body and mind since day one.

This is my second pregnancy/birth I get to experience with your help, Bridget! The first didn’t go as planned (induced at 41+5) however everything you taught me made me feel so empowered and educated on the entire process that I never felt helpless. I shared my journey on this and now I’m praying for a natural labor this time and excited for another opportunity!

Hi Bridget! I watched all of your content while preparing for my unmedicated birth with my second baby and was very successful. We are now expecting baby number 3 and am currently rewatching everything. Thank you so much for spreading your knowledge and experiences. ❤

This time around will be so much better, more calm, and I will be in a much better headspace. So excited for the Birth Center. My mind was tensed, stressed, and no breathing for my 1st baby in June 2020, so this is going to be a much better experience. Almost 36 weeks. ❤ Thank you for all of your helpful encouragement. God bless.

Update on how your birth went?
@angelabrum107 ай бұрын
@roxxyfoxify I would say that the biggest help of the course was giving me confidence and tranquility. During the birth I was confident making decisions and I knew how to breath, how to position myself, and I felt calm overall. I advise the course. I would also say that it is better to follow your instint instead of being traped on the ideal birth you dreamed to have. I had a vaginal birth at the hospital. It was a big baby so I ended up taking the epidural. I believe it was the right choice at that moment. I dilated without the epidural but I was to tired to do the rest and in a lot of pain, so I decided to have it and I believe it was the right choice. Me and my baby are healthy and we have a great bond ❤

I gave birth naturally to my second almost 3 months ago now. I was watching all your videos, trying to learn and grow. Did the exercises, birth ball etc. The birth was far harder than my first. I don't know why, other than my mind was so dark and negative. I couldn't get out of there. Turns out I also had placenta accreta and he was born en caule!

Hi Bridget ! I love your channel! My first baby was born at a birthing center .. water birth and it wad magical. Very similar to your birthing video of your second baby. I’m 42 and now I’m Going to a hospital setting for a natural birth but my doctor says they will induce at week 39 because of my age. Would that affect or more chance to affect my unmedicated natural birth plans? ( I’m week 38 and doing everything from your video of natural inducing birth but mentally letting go of any expectations. Knowing that everything will happen the way is supposed to. I appreciate your channel so much since I will not have a midwife this time.
@truthandbeautycoАй бұрын
You can deny the induction, even if the doctor says they won't deliver. The hospital always has OBGYNs on staff; someone will deliver the baby. They cannot deny delivering a baby.

Hi! Could you please share the links to some of the products you mentioned, specifically in #3 when you were talking about iron? I’m 31 weeks and my counts just came back low. My diet has already been pretty catered toward iron because I knew my mom had bouts of low iron, so I was surprised to see my counts low. I’ve been doing lots of organ meats from the beginning, we eat leafy greens commonly, etc, - but I am upping red meat and looking for ways I can help absorption ☺️ Thank you!

Please watch out for eating too much vitamin A rich food (such as liver). Best to look it up, or even better, check with your healthcare provider.

Regarding eating iron rich foods. Am doing that but it seems my body is not absorpting it all or is hiding it. Been reading about hemodilution during pregnancy which can be a physiological protective response but may not always be treated that way by practioners...

So I love lover but I thought you couldn’t eat liver when pregnant because it’s high in vitamin A. That’s what they say in the UK, is that not true? I would love to eat it a bit during my second pregnancy because it’s the most nutrient dense food you can eat.
@irisramonida250511 ай бұрын
I'd love to know about this too. Been missing liver now.

In France they don’t tell pregnant women to not eat it so I guess it’s fine

I want to know this answer too! Been told no liver due to high levels of vitamin A!
@GabbieVasquez-s7p10 ай бұрын
Official NHS recommendations are to avoid it, vitamin A can cause birth defects when in large quantities, which liver does contain unlike other common sources. Probably safer to get iron from elsewhere.

@steffilomi93287 күн бұрын
I had one with my first at 41+0 in the morning. In the afternoon I lost my mucous plug and at night gave birth. I had it done to prevent getting to 42 weeks, because that is the cut of for my birth center. For me it didn't hurt at all, but maybe the edges were already loose, because I was already dilated 2 cm for two weeks. It seemed to me the best option compared to Pitocin. Best of luck and Gods blessing!

Hi Bridget, you mentioned about ensuring the baby's back is facing the front of the mother. I have a question. This is my first pregnancy and I have an anterior placenta so wouldn't having the baby's back facing my front increase the risk of the umbilical cord wrapping around the baby? I don't know much so I am just wondering how it is. Thanks xx
@ashicaalisha79111 ай бұрын
the baby wrapping itself around your cord is to ensure the cord doesn't come out first, babies are smart also it doesn't matter if the cords is wrapped around your baby your placenta is what provides oxygen to your baby

No, that's really not what it's all about. I'm sure you've noticed, looking at her comment section, that a lot of women are empowered by the education she provides. A lot of mamas go into labor with no fear and trusting their bodies because of "this woman".

She is one of the few people who put out an immense amount of “free content” You basically could use all her free videos as its own birth education class. She goes above & beyond. I’m all for calling out that stuff because I can’t stand the money hungry influencers, but she certainly is not that 😂
