7 year old Elias has finally grown out 2 adult teeth! BUT… his 2 baby teeth in the front simply won’t budge! So brave. My 7yo girl had a bad experience with 1 back tooth extraction and now she needs another back tooth extraction and she wouldn't dare show her mouth to the dentist. Advised to use antibiotic and a sedative prior to peocedure.

Yes it’s important to prep the child well prior to the procedure so they feel reassured. For the sedative for young kids, possible alternative options would be to use laughing gas to distract them which works well for my younger son. Wishing your child a smooth procedure ahead! ❤️

Just had tooth extraction today the syringe hurt a little but taken the tooth out hurt less I got laughing gas and local anesthesia it didnt even hurt im not lying

Hi, no there was no further pain medication required afterthat. In fact, he was up and running within an hour after the procedure just like nothing had happened! 😄

Hi, he’s 9 years old now! 😊 The needle might look kinda intimidating but it was fine as the dentist did a great job and handled everything very well and professionally.
