This is the most respectful JJ episode I ever seen! You can tell all of these people are/have amazing parents. I also love how they talk about how friendly the entire neighborhood is, we need more neighborhoods like this! As for the little girl, I don’t blame the parents for not having an eye on her the entire time. Neighborhoods like this it’s common for a child her age to cross over to her friends home. I also don’t necessary blame the driver as she popped out in front of him. I think it was a very unfortunate accident, and instead of passing blame I think the lesson should be to spend some more time with the children of the neighborhood teaching the correct way to cross over the road.

@@DonGrigorianFishing that is false. By that logic every victim of a crime is at fault. My brother was hit by a car when someone went into the bike lane to pass a "slow" car in front of them. He was on a bike and they didn't see him. But according to you that was him somehow putting himself in a dangerous position. Or do I misunderstand your comment? You're right, sometimes shit doesn't just happen, but that doesn't mean the victim was delinquent. My own son did the same thing, though not hit, but close. He was a little younger. We were walking with some adult friends, all leaving a place at the same time. We split up to go to our own cars, and my son started following Tom. Tom caught my eye and said he had him. In that brief moment my son darted between cars and out into the street. My friend Tom jumped out and saved him. Even under the most watchful eyes those little scamps can do an impulsive thing. Glad that darling little girl is okay. My friend Tom was almost crazed with guilt, as I'm sure this driver was too. Though neither of them are to blame.

Their shouldn't be a reward for a parent who is careless! If I see my child heading for the street I say don't go onto it before they get there?

I would probably have a heart attack if I hit a child. I hit a dog 1 time and felt HORRIBLE, sadly pup died but wasn't my fault. I went to home of dog and owners didn't seem 2 care so I took pup 2 my vet but pup passed away at vet. I cannot imagine if I hit a child, luckily little girl was ok without major injuries.

The defendant better stop doing MMA if he wants to keep his great looks. He's a really handsome dude, but the clover ear is the giveaway.

Ah... I see the defendant has a job and money in the bank. How do I know? He's not driving a 1980's Cadillac.
