This is the most respectful JJ episode I ever seen! You can tell all of these people are/have amazing parents. I also love how they talk about how friendly the entire neighborhood is, we need more neighborhoods like this! As for the little girl, I don’t blame the parents for not having an eye on her the entire time. Neighborhoods like this it’s common for a child her age to cross over to her friends home. I also don’t necessary blame the driver as she popped out in front of him. I think it was a very unfortunate accident, and instead of passing blame I think the lesson should be to spend some more time with the children of the neighborhood teaching the correct way to cross over the road.

Sooo true. I'm an older mom with a young 3 year old. Everytime I'm at the park, I'm the only observant adult. Constantly having to tell the older ones to be careful around younger children. Even yesterday this 8-9 year old boy threw a handful of wood chips at my face. When I looked at him he was about to do it again. I yelled at him and of course no "parent" was around! What's wrong with people not taking responsibility for THEIR choices!

Depending on her injuries she could have lifelong complications resulting in many more medical bills. The statute of limitation on suing for personal injury is usually two years. I would sue too. Pedestrians are allowed to cross the road in residential neighborhoods AND have right of way. However, they should be going after his insurance agency. They're not going to get anything in small claims court.

@@DonGrigorianFishing that is false. By that logic every victim of a crime is at fault. My brother was hit by a car when someone went into the bike lane to pass a "slow" car in front of them. He was on a bike and they didn't see him. But according to you that was him somehow putting himself in a dangerous position. Or do I misunderstand your comment? You're right, sometimes shit doesn't just happen, but that doesn't mean the victim was delinquent. Edit: There are also criminals out there, that exist to prey on others and some people behave reasonably and still become victims. I work in security and see it all the time.

People need to teach their children about playing/running into the streets and what happens when they get hit. This has to be a constant thing every time they are outside and an adult has to be watching them.

@@dharmallars I posted this when there was only 1 out of the 4 clips posted, now that I've seen the clips I know who's at fault but before all of that I was saying it's a damn shame this little girl had a fractured knee for a bit and got hurt (yes I know she and her parents as well as a bit of the drivers fault) but I was referring to myself, not as a judge to decide and dictate who was at fault, but my position as a viewer pitying the child

Smart, calm, clear folks so far. Without watching the second part, I'm pretty sure I know what happened. The little girl ran out in front of him. My own son did the same thing, though not hit, but close. He was a little younger. We were walking with some adult friends, all leaving a place at the same time. We split up to go to our own cars, and my son started following Tom. Tom caught my eye and said he had him. In that brief moment my son darted between cars and out into the street. My friend Tom jumped out and saved him. Even under the most watchful eyes those little scamps can do an impulsive thing. Glad that darling little girl is okay. My friend Tom was almost crazed with guilt, as I'm sure this driver was too. Though neither of them are to blame.

I would probably have a heart attack if I hit a child. I hit a dog 1 time and felt HORRIBLE, sadly pup died but wasn't my fault. I went to home of dog and owners didn't seem 2 care so I took pup 2 my vet but pup passed away at vet. I cannot imagine if I hit a child, luckily little girl was ok without major injuries.
