The "shadow thing" Is from the old perk shadow runner that increased movement speed. They combined shadow runner and ambush a long time ago. You used to have to pick between movement speed buff from shadow runner or damage from ambush.

as a rogue main how come you use rupture after you go into stealth, i just cant seem to see the benefit over using it before you go in hide. Unless you just keep forgetting so you pop it after that makes sense. Also i feel like your power bonus is so high rupture is counter intuitive since fights last 10 seconds max. weakpoint woulda been crazy i feel.

With this much physical power you would want weakpoint. Cutting through 60% armor, even if 40% doesn't include the phys reduction, would absolutely net you a huge amount of damage with that much power.

I would love to see this build with a castillion dagger 3rd stab out of ambush for a oneshot. Castillion's 3rd swing has a 150% damage stab compared to the stiletto's 120%. If you come out of hide and purposefully miss the first two swings then stab someone in the head with the 3rd swing while ambush still procced, it'll do insane damage and maybe even insta-kill someone.

Try this build with back attack imo. a 1.3 damage multiplier for hitting them in the back, headshots also stack and it scales weapon/addition phys damage really well. Ambush gets you 7.5 weapon damage for one single hit with a legendary stiletto. Back attack rewards good positioning and it's almost guaranteed to affect at least 2 or 3 dagger swings. Not to mention it also buffs your ranged damage by a whopping 30% on people running away. You can't face check people but I like playing like an actual rogue and deleting people without there even being a fight

"Why do people run marauders outfit" well, you get agility for a piece that costs MS so you almost fully delete the negative of the piece, just by wearing it purple or better. (I think blue gives -2 MS, purp -1, and legendary i think is flat MS no change but you get action speed from agi too) This allows for you to maintain MS while running something like cloth pants instead of loose trousers, or a shadow hood instead of shadow mask or rogue cowl. Rogue thrives on max MS, they give us really good tools to achieve that and still keep a lot of power intact, marauders outfit is one of the best pieces honestly bc chest reduces 3 MS or more in every other case. :) also marauders is probably the highest usable armor rating so getting armor rating without having to pay movement speed for it.. hope this makes sense!! From a rogue main who doesn't really use marauders, but there are certainly kits for it.

My biggest complaint this wipe is that there's too many damn players in the dungeons. Second complaint is that fighter and barb keep getting buffed when they need to be nerfed.

the fighter/barb thing has been a problem since the beginning of the game lol believe it or not pdr used to be WAY WAY crazier and so was fighter, barb has been virtually untouched but been a problem forever they just have TOO much stamina and they risk nothing too usually high risk to fight em low or no reward. I wouldn't complain about too many players in the dungeons though it used to be dead lobbies ALL day then when you would see someone you would get caught off guard I get it though it can be annoying when you are just trying to do a quest or kill a boss and only find nonstop pvp.

@Dethykins fighter is still down from what it once was though and is still a strong class you apparently weren't around for the ol 80% PDR 200 max hp fighter lobbies where everyone would just team up and loot. People were calling the game loot and looter. Fighter is in a fine spot in my opinion it's PDRs still high cap that is a problem. Sprint was also a major problem but that's been decently nerfed slayer fighters used to move 330 with weapons out lol.

Stiletto is more immediate burst, Kris is highest dps if you can get the full combo, Rondel is most consistent damage long term. I personally am a stiletto fan.

Hey lorr, making a case for armor penetration over the poison perk. Even a low defense target is taking a couple extra points of damage from from your dagger, and armored targets would be taking massively increased damage. Your armor penetration scales off your huge damage numbers, while magic damage scales off of your negative magic stats

Using a rondel dagger with 31 damage and having 1 true added to it would be the same as adding 3.23% phys power with +8 true thats equal to having 25.6 phys power the lower the main weapon damage the bigger the difference. (Wep+True)/(wep)=PHYS BONUS (31+8)/(31)=1.256 meaning a weapon with 22 damage looks like this. (22+8)/(22)=1.364 or 36.4% power bonus each 1 true damage would be (22+1)/(22)=1.045 or 4.54% basically every 4.54% phys power would equal 1 true damage. your damage goes up 4.54% for each true you add (68/67)=1.1015 or 1.5% At 67 damage true damage is still better because true ignores armor. but its much more efficient to stack phys power with a higher base damage weapon then with a low base damage weapon Ironically its more effective to stack action speed at this point since the true damage increases your output much more then phys power would on a dagger.
