I like TTI. I prefer Ryobi though because there is something about a Ryobi tool that when you pick it up, you feel like you know you trust the tool (you know the feeling). I don't have that feeling with Hart, and probably never will. As for 6 1/2 blades, although you could probably get them at Walmart, 7 1/4 are the standard size. You won't necessarily pay more for a 6 1/2 blade, you will get a better blade by going with a better saw and using a higher quality but cheaper (in comparison) 7 1/4 blade.

It seems to be a pre-brushless Ryobi. I do high end cabinet installs and cut a lot of prefinished panel products. I basically use a thick sheet of 4x8 styrofoam as a cut table and cut my material upside down with a straight edge. I have and old blue Ryobi cordless circ saw I got from a pawn shop for 20 bucks. Like new and with a Diablo blade it cuts flawlessly. Even materials prone to chip cut easily even on a 45. If was making decks or need greater depth of cut or something I need a real saw but for my use they do little more and the quality of cut is no better. And when it goes no worries.

@@ManCaverTools even at the same voltage the number of cell stacks matter. Its like comparing a 440 4bbl vs a 440 6-pack. They're both running air and pump gas.. In the car Youre limited by the speed the air and fuel flow.. In the battery youre limited by the discharge rate. In lithium thats represented in C values. 30c can discharge and charge faster than 25c. 2 30c in parallel are about 60c. Thats why. ( using ryobi as example) 2 stack and 3 stack battery packs work better than the single stack slim batteries ( with the exception of the 3ah Slim which is almost as high as a 2 stack pack)

If you only plan on using your Hart tools less than 10 times a year, then these may be OK for you. If any of those 10 times could stress the tool (like long usage sessions or cutting or drilling through really hard wood) then get something else as you don't wanna unknowingly cause excessive wear on your tools using above their capability without knowing. And some tasks most people might think a tool should do, Hart tools shouldn't do.

That was a good test. I really like how you did the long rip cut. With the 2ah battery the hart saw performs similar to the hyper tough circular saw. I’m hoping with a larger battery to see a similar increase in performance. I was looking yesterday and noticed hyper tough is releasing a new 40v battery powered lawn mower. That comes with 2 - 20v 4ah batteries. I’m hoping they’ll release the batteries as a stand alone item. And Walmart will bring some of the out of stock items back. It seems like they put a bunch of money into hyper tough. So Hart didn’t kill it. With better marketing Hyper tough could take on black and decker. If you wanna barrow my hyper tough circular saw, 2.5 ah batteries and a fast charger. Let me know.
