Wassup guys, I really hope you guys are enjoying todays video, this weeks video was a ton of fun to record. I honestly have been enjoying No Spell Magic Staff Cleric, I think it's one of the best if not the best PVP option for Cleric right know mainly because of the slow that Faithfulness offers for both Judgement and Smite, making movement speed not as high as a priority for cleric as usual. I do have some others builds I do consider when playing Cleric including my favorite classic Cleric build which I will be releasing a video about very soon. For know I hope you guys gained some knowledge during this video, or just enjoyed it in general. When I started out in Dark and Darker like a month ago: I joined higher gear lobby for the first time with my fighter. I was walking through Caves, hear clanking so I walk up to the door and a cleric opens it, judgmenets me and bonks me once in the head with his staff killing me. Will never forget this XD Btw he ofc. was the most juiced player in the lobby and had legendary/epic items only XD

Lol man that is an unfortunate first higher gear lobby experience haha, I don't know if you play Cleric but if you do play it how I explained, if not learn the range of Judgement and bait it out by jumping back and making the Cleric cancel it, or if they have smite run till it's gone then fight! Heyo when using the the staff you can get more dps by spaming the first attack similar to the rapier

I keep losing fights on cleric cause judgement wont go off so i just stand there and die

You can't move when using Judgement although there is a bug where it flickers using then not using which has gotten me killed as well, very annoying. If you really can't get the hang of Judgement then Smite is a good alternative, that way you can still use your holly strike! Thanks for supporting the video bro!

I'm curious, would judgement+holy strike not be better? They would never expect a holy strike to be that damaging.

I believe they are both great options but as you mentioned that is a great combo since the recent buffs. I'm going to be showing a detailed build of this next, be on the lookout, I got a great build for it! Thanks for watching bro!

@@bobafish23 Np! The only downside is you got only 4 strikes. (Can always use buffs on your self and such) And need to campfire a lot. I done some runs with high move speed, will and knowledge. Just rush up to any warlock, the phatism, you holy strike them twice and they dead hah. But gotta be a bit more careful, you win fights if you at least land 1 holy strike+judge

Yeah, the limited uses are definitely a negative, I mean as long as you're not missing all four Holly Strikes it should be fine with only four, plus you have lesser heal and buffs which are a big bonus. I completely agree as long as you get a judgement to land the fight it on, easy to land holly strikes after a slow. Excited to try it out more, thanks for commenting bro!

@@bobafish23 looking forward to see a video about it. Biggest problem would be to try not to get baited with holy strike that they jump backwards. cast speed helps with that for sure. Especially with a glass cannon build of 70-80% magic power.

To low move speed. You dont have range attack and dont have enough ms to chasing ppl.. I think you need to some improvements 1) drum to throw it when chasing. 2) Second slot must be 1h+lantern.

I do agree with the drum to throw! Great recommendation, I do believe more MS would be great maybe some Loose Trousers, although the build gets a lot more expensive when adding more move speed on certain items. I do believe hitting move speed cap of 300 would be solid for this build, I will take your comments in consideration, thanks for supporting bro!

Hey why use the staff instead of a mace ? Idk much about cleric but why is the staff used instead of mace if you dont cast spells ?

Hey wassup! People use staff instead of the mace because its a different play style to the Cleric, Magic Staff gives Magic Damage in a higher range compared to the spell book and 15% Magic Penetration, when you use abilities like Smite it gives you the Magic bonus damage according to the level of staff. magic damage bonus on gear will take you there, as well as penetration making your effective damage % closer to that illustrious 70%

Exactly as Hayden has mentioned here, with damage bonus dmg, will, and magical power plus magical pen this will boost your overall magic damage when using Judgement or the spell Holly Strike! Thanks for watching bro!
