I really like chaos shuffle, as someone who's getting back into the game after 2 years with only 1.7k hours, it helps shake the rust off real fast when i can't kick back and have slowdown do the work for me and instead have to lock in every match! It's also super fun too

Chaos shuffle is the single best way to play DbD hands down (for me) you get perks you don't own, you learn about perks, you don't face the same perks over and over again, so you don't have to bring the strongest perks every game too

I wish killers got the same understanding but most who have no idea how to actually play are just doing the same old garbage of tunneling and camping. It’s a good mode but it highlights problems on both sides.

Killers also rely on perks aswell, this is why i see alot of tunneling, slugging, and camping. They don't feel confident in themselves. I played killer on this mode and to me it was easier on killer.

The game mode gave me a sleeper Nemi build. -Never thought Id use "Hex: Crowd Control" seriously. Edit: (remembered the full build) -Hex Crowd Control -Cruel Limits -Furitive Chase -Knockout Hex is passive chase tool, but nothing super demanding to cleanse. If they do, its more of a waste of time and gives the chance for my zombies to do things -Cruel limits acts as a strong chase tool that helps me and my zombies -Furitive chase, makes me "randomly" stealthy for "unknown" reasons. Which works suprisingly well with knockout. -Knockout lets me leave the downed person to possibly sneak up on someone, or defend my totem. -Purple zombie speed with red zombie speed add ons to always keep pressure

As someone who plays both sides, I'd say this was an equally enjoyable experience, due to both of them being frustrating 7/10, while the other 30% went so well that somewhat nullified my annoyance of the 70% of frustration.

Still wish there was a QOL change where we can randomize our build and items+ add ons. Ik people make the argument "there's a site for that" But itd just simply be a nice QOL if it was right there. Also ill miss this mode because not everyone is sweating so hard

Chaos shuffle made me realize that there are actually a lot of objectively good perks out there, but the reason people don't run them more is because they're either too map-dependent or too inconsistent. For example, cruels limits can be super good when it works as shown in your first match of this video, but if you have a map with a million pallets, such as Gideon's Meat Plant, or if you just can't find someone within the time that the windows are blocked, then it's gone to waste and that slot would have been better filled by something more consistent such as the myriad of gen regression perks.

One of the things I loved the most about Chaos Shuffle is it forced people to try off meta shit. It made people experience new things, and it was nice not seeing the same ten perks on recycle. Brought some fresh air into the game and i hope it added some perks to peoples builds that they previously never really tried.

this game mode got me back into playing dbd after about 4 months off. I love doing random builds so in a way this game mode is how i play dbd but with perks I would not think of using. And I cannot wait until the new killer and survivour to come out (I am more exited since there is a bard elf which is what I play in d&d)

Surviors obviously don't enjoy going against slowdown perks every single damn game and killers obviously don't enjoy survivors using 2nd chance perks and win chase for free perks every single game. Dbd would genuinely be a much better and healthier game without gen slowdown, exhaust perks, and 2nd chance perks.

Advice for survivors: When we Killers break a pallet, don't stay and try to blind us. It costs you time and doesn't do anything: When blinded, you are shown the direction of the survivor's footsteps and you before being blinded, you saw what the map behind the survivor looks like. Blinding time is too short to confuse a killer and footsteps indicator prevents us from losing you. That's why he saied it's not intelligent to try and blind him on a pallet. You gift him the time you just took from him. It's as if you never got the pallet stun in the first place. Convert the time gained into distance gained. Much more useful than any blind.

50:10 Interesting, I just noticed that while you are remote viewing through your pods as Singularity it counts as standing still for purposes of Insidious. (If you watch the hud you'll notice the Insidious icon lights up while Singularity views remotely with pod.) I don't know off-hand if there's a fun build you could do around that, but at the very least it could mean survivors get confused where you are if you stand still and use the pods for more than 2 seconds.

I've said before that I mainly enjoyed DBD back when it was slowly gaining traction, people didn't run the same build every game, and tbh the bugs back then were actually pretty goofy also.

I mostly play killer and I noticed if I played a mid tier killer like Trickster I had to work hard if my perks weren't usable but if I played nurse, Wesker, Chucky I won regardless of my perks. As survivor I had a ton of fun even when I got bad loadouts but getting Nurse, Wesker, Xeno, Chucky, Wesker as my 5 games last night it was rough. 😂

There should be some time during the loading screen where your perks are interactable so you can at least read about them. I have over 3000 hours in the game and I still don't know what every perk does by heart so even when I see them, I'm not sure how to use them.
