You know, the answers to these questions don't matter to me as much since everybody basically said the same: Have a good life and be happy. But what made me feel uncomfortable was the fact that people get old so quick. And yes, this is 70 years put in 4 minutes but imagine... I don't know what age you are, but time flies by. It goes so fast. That's what is unfair to me. I really noticed people getting older by the year (duhh) but it made me feel uncomfortable that the time we have is so limited. A wise man once said to me: We say life is short, yet it is the longest thing we'll ever experience. (okay, bring it one with the that's what she said jokes) but for real, this video made me think.

I don't believe fame will create happiness, what you love will. I'm 13 and my heart belongs to acting and writing, I want to be an actress and a screenwriter. When I'm not acting or writing, my goal is to make the world a better place by helping families in poor countries, endangered animals, and saving habitats. I don't care about people noticing me in public, or the red carpet. I care about the people watching and how the film they see will impact their views emotionally and personally. If they feel what the character is going through, they can make some great connections. It is a great journey to live in someone else's life. My current goal is to keep getting better at acting, as well as writing and changing the world for the better until my life is over. Remember, happiness is doing what you love. If you have a great love and passion for something, do it!

I personally believe humans adapt to their situation according to their mindset. If you become rich you'll soon be used to that feeling and the "sudden" happiness will slowly fade away over time until it's just the way it was. Maybe you'll change your mindset as a result of becoming rich, thinking, now I can be happy! But THAT'S the part that makes you happy, not the becoming rich part. I think what makes people happy is how they think, not how they are. Of course you have people in bad situations struggling to get through, and it's not their fault for not having a positive attitude. But most of the time our greatest issues are not so great. A bad grade, an argument or stressing over things that haven't even happened yet. I personally believe you can be happy by just figuring out what makes you happy in your head. It doesn't have to be material as you don't have to do something you like to do or be in a position you'd like to be, to be happy. You can just suddenly decide that you're fine, you're happy, instead of always stressing and working towards things that won't actually make you happy, it'll just give you that feeling of accomplishment. Most people in the video weren't content, they still wanted to do something so they could become happy. I think changing your mindset for the journey is more important than solely thinking of the possible happiness at the finish line. We're maybe all too focused on our goals, and not the road towards that goal. But what is your life, if not a journey towards your goals? Happiness is just a state of mind after all, being sad, being angry, we all choose those emotions, why can't we choose happiness?

Magus Medivh ahaha yeah subjectively best for me then, of course it would be good to do but under regulation, I think most people need to think that little bit higher of themself so they can be that bit happier however you shouldn't go to the extent of it being mentally draining for yourself unless that person is really in need of the support. To conclude you helping others even a little is going to make yourself feel better and that's a small price to pay for the self gratification you get out of it.

I respect your opinion, but personally I don't think that saying "I want to be famous" or "I want to win an Oscar" is necessarily selfish. Some people do have a passion for film or modelling or sports or music and it's okay if their goal in life is to do that full time, and for a lot of people being successful at what they love means becoming famous.
