Hey! Great job making that bar! I It should loosen up to the perfect size after some use so it will release itself easier.

That cheater bar worked really good, I never got notified of any of your newer videos! I have always wondered if a vacuum pump would remove the beads from the rim lol

I also mounted mine on a pallet and it has been working fine. I did bend it slightly rearward, away from the bead breaker side, while dismounting some racecar tires. I plan to straighten it up and reinforce a few places. Otherwise it's a well spent $45.

I usually drive a lag bolt into tires when I am trying to break the bead.

Break the beed first both sides than soap them to remove the tire that way the bead breaker won’t slide backwards on the side wall of the tire

He tried that, quite clearly, and decided it wasn't going to work. I agree with you tho... he just maybe used too much lube where he shouldn't have. Tire placement is more important to success here but being precise with the lube can help avoid the slippage where you don't want it. A spray bottle with a stream setting can get the water right in tight to the rim without getting it all over the tire or using a small paint brush will help.
