This is a tribute originally Satellite 318ci build to the 1970 Roadrunner 440 Six-Pack is one of the most sought after Mopar's for collectors/investors. 1970 is considered by many to be the pinnacle model year for the Golden Era! The all new look for 1970 included a body that has been smoothed out with restyled fenders, grille, and taillights, non-functional side scallops were located behind the doors, the race inspired interior with high back bucket seats, center console with auto shifter. All of these changes resulted in the best-looking Roadrunner ever built. There was a restoration completed 6 years ago. Original mileage before build was only 56,140 miles. The current mileage is 56,640 giving a total of 500 miles on build. This is a new 440 Six-Pack stroked out to 498ci and pushes 485 HP and 565 FT/LBS of torque to the wheels on the DYNO. This is a true BEAST and one of the finest Muscle Cars out there! Everything has been completed on this build. Free from rust and is show ready. This beauty has had a regimen of excellent care. For power the Roadrunner has a built 440 with the famed Six-Pack! The engine build alone cast $12,000.00. Engine block # 4006630-440-10. The A727 Torque flite three-speed automatic transmission with console shift. A high-flow 3" FlowMaster exhaust with H-Pipe. Plymouth Roadrunner diff a Dana 60 "Sure Grip" with 3.55 gear. Power steering, and yes, the Roadrunner's distinctive " Meep Meep" horn. Hand painted cartoon Roadrunner on the front fenders. Makes this beauty standout in a crowd.
Heavy-duty suspension was installed on all Roadrunners and included heavier ball joints, torsion bars, tubular hydraulic shock absorbers, and a beefy anti-roll bar front and rear. Power front disc system featuring 11.04 inch rotors and four-piston calipers, and heavy-duty drum brakes measuring 11 x 3 in the rear.
The black interior is in excellent condition. To achieve the perfect stance the Roadrunner has been lowered 2" at all four corners. Riding on 275 Nitto front and rear tires with 17" American Racing aluminum wheels.
