The CTS is one of the first domestic cars I have been proud of in a while. I got to drive a friends which has been insanely modified and the power in it was amazing. Handles beautifully too.

This is the best sounding and driving Cadillac ever! Until now, my favorite has been my folks '56 Coupe de Ville from my childhood. I loved the low and complex V8 rumble emanating from those dual exhausts through the bumper. That car was a gentle pink giant. However the serious driving machine in your film roars so sonorously- What a drive!. Enjoy!

I want one of those Caddies in blue with a white vinyl top like my great grandparents had on their Coupe Deville. Now that would be nice.

The ultimate sport sedan car. Looks awesome and is made very well like Audi,BMW and Mercedes.

You obviously don't know as much as you'd like to think. The stock supercharged LS9 in a CTS-V comes with a fully forged bottom end. Easly capable of handling more than the 700 hp it's making now. And with a roots type supercharged engine, adding more boost and a slightly larger cam are 2 of the best ways to make solid hp gains.

600Hp at the wheels - damn - and the sound - double damn this is probably the most wicked caddy ever and with 600Rwhp this thing could probably keep up with a C6 ZOSick as well so it is a 4 door sedan which is affordable, fast as a ZOSick, fast as fuck on the track due to the high performance suspension and it looks great and it´s a great daily driver too so it is ... just a perfect car - and the sound is so wicked ! I love it !

Hey Hennessey Performance, I'm selling my current car and picking up a 09+ CTS-V sedan. I plan on spending quite a bit in the performance department and would like to throw some meatier tires on the front and rear. I noticed that you created a wide body kit for the "1200 hp cts-v coupe." Do you also make wide body kits for the sedan? Thanks in advance.

I seen a CTS-V hauling straght ass down I-75 southboud from downtown!! IT SOUNDED SUPERB!!!!! Love the CTS-Vs!!! :-)
@mjmarch215 жыл бұрын
I have less than 80K in the car with upgrade. CTS-V has solid foundation with 4 wheel ind suspension and "Magnetic Ride" shocks like vette. 15 inch 6 piston brembos on front and 14" rear. Heavy car but feels lite with the power. Wicked sounding idle and 20+ mpg on highway since upgrade.
@imjustpassinthru12 жыл бұрын
I didn't watch this all the way through. Did he mention brakes? That's the question I would have for obvious reasons. Have the brakes been upgraded?

@doreilly15 then why is that the v murders the m5 when they are both stock?
@korruptkustoms8915 жыл бұрын
hey master 9716 if they dont know what they're doing why are they so successful? They do put forged pistons in they're vehicles such as the the vipers. Obviously the stock pistons rods and crank can handle the 700 hp or they would have had to replace it already.

I own a 04 ctsv. Cam, exhaust car. It is a beast and I love it. A little 100 shot and it takes on just about anything daily driven. No its not the fastest thing on the road. But 480 crank horsepower, then 100 shot, and I still get 20 mpg average. :)

you seem calm as fuck for going at such a fast speed my friend. i dont think i wud ever be able to drive a fast car and give a commentary at the same time. Kudos mate
@drz400e33215 жыл бұрын
Seems like you (master9716) don't know what you are doing. They put a slightly more aggressive cam in there, the pistons and rods are good for a little extra horsepower and I am POSITIVE they took a look at that. Most of the power probably came from a simple pulley swap. HPE are on of the most respectable names in American performance, can you back up anything you said?
@QHall869 жыл бұрын
My question is can you keep the stock exhaust and manifolds and still obtain 700hp? Because that would be the real sleeper! This is the car will be getting.

good god that's the most badass cadillac ever.
@03Wakesetter12 жыл бұрын
@spencerhopkins91 Well why refer to a different track layout when the time I stated the CTS did was on the full Nurburgring? Those times are irrelevant, as is your argument. The Cadillac CTS-V Sedan (four door) did the full 'Ring in 7:59, whereas the M3 GTS, the stripped out version of a lighter and smaller car in the first place, only went around 11 seconds faster. If that means it "can't turn worth a shit" I'd be happy if every car couldn't.
@stifelin15 жыл бұрын

Top Gear actually loves the hell out of the CTS-V.
@rdsimmonds15 жыл бұрын
Obviously, you don't know as much as you'd like to think you do. The stock LS9 based engine uses a forged steel crankshaft and forged titanium rods. There's no real need to upgrade these unless you're talking about making WAY more than 700 hp. And the heads, cam, and overdrive pulley for the blower are all parts that were designed for use with an engine that uses a roots type blower. Do a little bit of research before you comment next time.
@Rlnthndr14 жыл бұрын
that track is awesome.

This car makes over 600 hp at the wheels (over 700 flywheel hp). Stock ZR1 makes 530 at the wheels.
