Just Arrived: Over 700 Jazz LPs!
This collection has a great selection of the standard repertoire from the classic bop/post-bop era of the late 50’s through the late 60’s; from East Coast giants like Miles to West Coast artists like Art Pepper and Gerry Mulligan.
However, before you serious collectors get too excited, please be aware that these titles are almost all later reissues. Most of these records were pressed from the mid 70’s to the early 80’s. There are about 60 Blue Notes, mostly the all-blue label with some Liberty blue/white and UA blue/white 70’s pressings. Also many blue label Prestiges, later pressing of Savoy, Contemporary, Impulse and other major labels, and close to 100 ‘OJC”s (Original Jazz Classics label). There are also quite a few high-quality “audiophile” pressings on labels like Analogue Productions, Classic Records, Pure Audiophile, and Alto editions of Steeplechase records.
Beautifully maintained, the covers and records are almost without exception very clean. If you’re just getting into jazz LPs or are looking to fill some holes in your own collection, this nicely chosen selection is a great resource; the gentleman who sold them to us has excellent taste! (For those who follow us on Instagram or Facebook, this is the collection that was shipped in the giant wooden box from Florida!)
As this collection is not heavy on rarities, most titles have been priced from $1.99 to $19.99, with just a few dozen higher.
Please note that these records are sold first come, first served. Many of these titles are in very high demand, so to be as fair as we can to everyone, please do not call us to ask to put any on hold. For those not familiar with our store, sorry, we are a walk-in store only and do not ship.
If you are looking for a nice cross-section of relatively inexpensive jazz records, it’s a great time to come visit us!

This is so cruel. If you don't live near your store, you're kind of S.O.L. 😢 I need to find a buddy in the NJ area who knows something about jazz. "Hey Ken, you listening?" Great store and a real treasure for jazz vinyl lovers. Cheers!

@@ETCarter1954 No kidding. I'm already going to "Discogs-aholics Anonymous" 3 nights a week. I can't imagine what online access to this shop would do to my finances. 😁✌️🎶🔊
