I love through periods of silience quite content that it is there. Its ok. What matters is whether that makes me insecure or not. I relate to doubting Thomas....its not a bad place to be because you question. Thomas knew God was real.....but also had real questions. And real questions need space rather than quick cliche answers that dont satisfy. Persevere.....your understanding at any point of time doesnt change Gods existence or care. Be careful of feelings.

Something similar happen to me in 2015. I was in a deep depression and hit the bottom of the barrel, ask Him for help with all my heart then it happen instantly. When I was younger I had to go to the ER for something and was devastated by what the dr told me. When the dr left I cried out to God and all of a sudden all my stress, fear, worry and anger where taken away.
