700WHP Evo 8 Drive and Pulls! Something Went Wrong…

I wanted to get the 2003 evo 8 out for some interior and exterior pulls as well as a drive along. We ran into some unexpected issues with the top of 5th gear. The car wasn’t really making full boost and it almost felt like boost cut. A Haltech ECU and a new tune should clean that up. I hope you guys enjoy the video

Stock ecu has the ability to cut boost. Either via boost cut limit/load max cut. It could also be cutting due to knock. All depends how your car was tuned.

What exhaust do you use and what radio do u have. Also i love the far btww

looks like clutch slip? thats how mine looked/felt

That could be it as well. We were thinking maybe it could be the stock computer
