It's a Gall rose growths caused by hymenoptera Rose hips ..Often found on wild or species roses, robin's pin cushion is a harmless growth on the stems of roses. It is caused by a gall wasp. Amazing wild plant life beside railways! 🙂 Great Video btw...That Castle made light work of Lickey!

Has there been unassisted solo steam up there before in preservation? It's always been doubleheaded or banked before I think. I think the limit for a single loco in steam days was four.

48773 in January '99, on load 7, and 5690 'Leander' in March '06, on load 6. Those are the only previous solo, unassisted runs in preservation, as far as I am aware.
