@kedarshelat If you need parking monitoring, then hardwiring is a must. You can't get parking monitoring by connecting to 12V socket. You've got two options for hardwire kit. Regular kit and OBD2 kit. Regular kit is available officially. OBD2 kit is not available officially. I was leaning towards the 70mai A510, but I found out it uses lithium-ion batteries instead of capacitors. I would recommend a CPL filter definitely. It removes all the unwanted glare and dashboard reflections from the video footage. That being said, you can always purchase CPL filter sometime later, when you feel comfortable.

Bought 70mai A810 lastweek and fixed in my car... Superb product and video quality.. ADAS is working very well...but i turned it off because the ADAS warning for bikers and pedestrian is annoying in city traffic conditions.. While most dash cams available these days seem to be enough my real question is in regards to build quality of these brands and how long we can expect these to work. Most of us buy the budget dash cam not just cause cause of the budget but also cause in our heads we are thinking that it won’t last very long anyway and then we will have to get another one. My one cons is: G sensor feature Photo capture feature. Heating issues(ok). We can see the real time video in display at any time ? We can see the video using APP at any time? It has G sensor which will record emergency videos when it detects abnormal vibrations. It does get heated and that's normal. All dashcams heat up. You can see the real time video display IF you are connected to the dashcam's hotspot. You can see the video on the app IF you are within the range of the dashcam, and the dashcam is on.

I have a 70mai A500S-1 which is a dual camera setup with a 2.7K front and 1080p rear camera. I am observing frames being missed in the recording of the 2.7k front sensor. Is this due to slow microsd card speed or something else? I have a samsung card which supports upto 100MBps.

Emergency video recording is based on G sensor. If the car is moving and the the sensor detects an abnormal vibration such as road hump/ ditch, it records a video in a separate folder. Similarly, when car is parked and hardwired, the G sensor detects abnormal vibration such as some other car bumps into your car, and then records video into parking mode folder. So in both cases, g sensor works. It depends on you if you want it to work only while driving (regular 12v power connection) or even when car is parked (hardwiring kit).

No risk. There is no evidence or data to suggest that battery based dashcams are prone to exploding. But regarding heating up, all dashcams heat up as they continuously record high quality videos. They might even feel too hot to touch. That's a normal feature of dashcams and nothing to be worried about.
