I would recommend a CPL filter definitely. It removes all the unwanted glare and dashboard reflections from the video footage. That being said, you can always purchase CPL filter sometime later, when you feel comfortable.

However, something bothering me is that I have been told by my car dealer that if I hardwire it to the battery it would void the battery warranty. So I can only connect it to the 12v socket...thereby missing on some features like parking recording, ADAS etc..So is it really worth the 20k investment? Another question is..can we self install both the front & back cameras or will need some professional help?

You will need to remove the adhesive pads very carefully. If removed without damaging them, they just might stick to a new surface. But incase they don't, you can buy additional spare sticker pads and replace those for new attachments.

No risk. There is no evidence or data to suggest that battery based dashcams are prone to exploding. But regarding heating up, all dashcams heat up as they continuously record high quality videos. They might even feel too hot to touch. That's a normal feature of dashcams and nothing to be worried about.

The biggest problem with 70 MAI is that it can't be repaired in India. My camera lasted only three years. The Dash cam problem will be solved only when these are offered as original equipment by the manufacturer.

While most dash cams available these days seem to be enough my real question is in regards to build quality of these brands and how long we can expect these to work. It has G sensor which will record emergency videos when it detects abnormal vibrations. It does get heated and that's normal. All dashcams heat up. You can see the real time video display IF you are connected to the dashcam's hotspot. You can see the video on the app IF you are within the range of the dashcam, and the dashcam is on.

No other dashcams in the near future. 3. Hardwiring kit has built in battery protection feature. Sto it will turn off the dashcam once the threshold battery level is reached

I have purchased 70 mai 510 front stage dashcam from amazone.. The physical button on dashcam are little loose while pressing or touching ..Is it normal do let me know sir.

I always recommend dashcams with Starvis 2 sensor. Hence A510.

Do you think polarizing filters (CPL filters) are helpful? and do they limit the video quality at night? your opinion will be very helpful.

Bought 70mai A810 lastweek and fixed in my car... Superb product and video quality.. ADAS is working very well...but i turned it off because the ADAS warning for bikers and pedestrian is annoying in city traffic conditions.. Overall excellent product..the only problem i felt main camera unit heating
