70mai A810 Review | A Top Tier 4k Dashcam!

This is the dashcam I own. It has been excellent. I sent in a video you used on your channel last year that had to be zoomed in at least 4x, and you'd never know it was zoomed in. Quality is top notch. Software is reasonably easy to use. I have two criticisms. That rear camera cable connector is thick, and difficult to tuck inside the vehicle's trim. They should have simply made it a plug and jack right on the camera. Second, it uses a lithium battery that doesn't like heat. Not very difficult to replace, but costs $20 on AliExpress and you'll be replacing it every 2 years. Those nitpicks aside, the price is the reason everybody should get one. It costs less than the minimum ICBC deductible of $300. Just one fender bender, and it's paid for itself.

Great point here my apologies. Usually that set up if for "bit rate" so you're correct higher compression might lower the quality ever so slightly

I am using a Sandisk Extreme 256 gb Memory card with this dashcam, but there is considerable amount of frame rate drops. Can Samsung Pro Ultimate 256 gb solve the problem? Or any type of change in settings must be applied?

Yes it is. But in 1920×1080@25fps the frame rate drops are less. Where, in 4K@25fps the drops are more prominant. I think this is because of the writing speed of the sd card.

@DipayanBhattacharya-o3q that's weird though because if it has that class of microsd card it shouldn't do that. I can use those cards with my gopro 4k 60 fps without any issues. Maybe try a different card?
