I’m trying to use this thing without the app I downloaded the app and it’s just a bunch of garbage. I do not want to run my app and tie up my iPhone when I am driving my car since I have never been in an accident and I added this because it was going to give me some safety features, and it was going to watch my car when I stopped it at a grocery store or an event. It will not work without the app, and I am just about to return it.

These cameras don't work as advertised, its all over YT and reviewers generally agree the camera is misrepresented. I have had mine for over a year, I'm on my 2nd replacement. The first one didn't do voice commands or surveillance, the 2nd one doesn't either. Total misrepresentation. I can say it's an ok dash cam for image and audio, but that's it. Also, mine CONSTANTLY barks at me to get some rest, about every 30 minutes for so, and also randomly starts taking photos with those stupid sound effects. I fear one day, I'm going to rip it off my windshield and throw it out the windows. Don't buy one of these!

I had decided to buy one, but thanks to your explanation I will not buy any more. Thank You. In a dash cam, the most important feature is that when the vehicle is not running, if it detects movement around a vehicle, it works automatically and does not drain the battery.

Energy consumption with one or both of the parking security features on, Drains your battery in a few days. And a simple thing as the coalition detection, what should be done with an accelerometer that doesn't use more then 2 to 3 mah , already makes this dashcam us about 200mAh/h in combinations with the 4 G module, Without the coalition detection and Motion detection, it just uses 10-20mAh/h including the 4G module. So the nice advertisement of the motion detections are focusing on a feature that you can only use for a short period of time. Leave your car for 4 days and the changes is high that it won't start. Except if you have a smart car that just completely switched of the Omni.

In the U.S 4 G its unavailable and just connected to lighter socket,fortunately once Engine is turned Off there’s no power in lighter sockets in my Honda CRV.

Does it have to wait for 7 seconds before recording? Can it record say 10 seconds before it triggers the auto record mode because what if you have a nice car and some asshole keeps keying it. I'd like to be able to catch the swine as he approaches and have the camera follow him around and anyone else who comes into view for that matter. I'm not interested in anyone who doesn't touch my car just the scumbags who keep keying it. Edit: If these cameras can do this I'll buy two. One for the front and one for the back.

@@FenixxQ No te recomiendo éste aparato,funciona solo 50% excepto Europa y Asia,no tiene cámara trasera ni tampoco graba si te chocan aparcado ni hace seguimiento de personas,tampoco puedes ver nada desde tu casa pq no usa 4 G como timbres de puerta con cámara,busca aparatos japoneses o gringos mejor.

Just waiting for an updated 4k with front and rear 180degree wide cameras which can detect movement incoming from all around the car. And maybe why not a sim port to notify users of movement around their carb and gps location.

Please write a more detailed explanation. 1- In park mode, will it remain active until morning? 2- If it is active until the morning, how much will the battery of the car decrease? 3- Will it be able to observe a thief or someone who comes to the back of the car? First it will remain active until your car battery drops to 11.7 V. Second depends upon AH rating of your battery. Third the answer is no probably there will be an upgrade or software update in future.

Hello, What do I have to set? I have now set it so that the Bach camera switches off for 20 minutes. Do I have to adjust it so that it doesn't switch off and what does that mean for the car battery!? Will it then be drained or does the Omni 70mai have a protective circuit so that the battery does not run out? Thanks and Greetings

Is there going to be an update allowing me to use the surveillance mode that I paid for when I bought my Omni 360? I have a choice to sue or return it but I like the dashcam… so I’m leaning toward a lawsuit... I will sue you and buy the useless hardware kit if you change the description to say something else. Do us a favor and unlock the damn feature we rightfully paid for.

Unfortunately 70mai Omni App for North America-U.S- doesn’t allow 4 G Parking Overnight surveillance and else,despite we had Paid same Price for this device like the rest of the world. Depending upon car’s Model,battery can be drained using 24 hrs surveillance/ camera getting juice even when car’s Engine it’s Off

I think that is exactly the point of this feature. The bad guy notices that they are watched/recorded which is supposed to discourage them from doing any mischiefs.
