The reason harken was listed as a bonus word is because it is usually spelled hearken

Hydrangea was my last word and it took a while to guess it. That was a completely new word to me as a non native English speaker. I've had many "oh that's a word" moments before but not this long.

I know a lot of people in my own life who say 'hanged isn't a word, it's hung'. They are correct, and incorrect. If you hang something on a wall, 'hung' is the correct past tense. However, the act of hanging someone like in olden times during executions, you would say 'that person was hanged' as 'hanged' is the correct past tense in this situation. Thought that should be put out in case someone thought hanged was a fake word

Maybe it's different for different people. But turning the puzzle made everything way harder for me. All the work I'd done to methodically go through possibilities was just thrown out the window. It was a bit jarring. If it actually helps you, keep doing it. But don't spin things around just because you think your audience thinks you should.

I've only done couple of these, in an impulse after I watched last video. Tried the valentine's one and oof!! After I got 70+ words, I gave up n pulled word generator and completed the next day by trail n error

I thought this one wasn't too bad for a 5 star given the -ly, -er, - en, and -ed. I had no idea what a Hydrangea is and I also thought that Hydra wouldn't be a bonus word.

18:04 In situations like this one you need to be careful. You rotated the board. The numbers do not change if you rotate the board. Therefore it still was numbered the way it would be numbered if you hadn't rotated the board. The thing you said was right but only because the Rs were in that same order on the original grid. If you would have rotated the grid by another 90 degree the numbers still wouldn't have changed even though RARE would have been possible with the other R which in that case would have been on the left of (and therefore prefered to) the R it was counted for

I only found 33 of the bonus words. I couldn't spell hydrangea properly even though I was sure it was in there, so it was one of the last words I found as I needed most of the tiles cleared to get it right.

Interestingly, NAAN was one of the first words I found and CADRE was also the last one I found. Nice in some way to see how long it took Scott as he normally does these very quickly. It took me 1h15m plus I had to use hints.
