Let's talk about that. "Having a 7 years old account" and "Have been playing for 7 years" are two different statements. Assuming you've been a consistant and regular player for the last 7 years : 7 Years x 12 Months/Year = 84 Months 365Days per Year * 7 Years / 7 Days per Week = 365 weeks 7 Years * 365 Days per Year = 2555 Days You can get LD summons trough a lot of content : - Clearing ToAX : ToA 90 has been cleaned every month since month 6 --> 78 LD scrolls from ToA ToAH 90 has been cleaned every month since year 1 --> 72 LD scrolls from ToAH ToA Hell : Not counted (Quite recent and "lame to get") All attribute scrolls : They count more or less as a regular LD scrolls when it comes to the LD rates, but they are quite recent so I won't count them. - Monthly event : You've connected at least 24 times a month and got every LD scrolls from the monthly connection reward --> 84 LD scrolls Since approx. half of the events give LD scroll and there's one every week : 365 weeks * 1 event per week = 365 events 365 events / 0.5 LD scroll per event = 182.5 LD scrolls from the events - Scenario and summoners way rewards : There are also some scrolls obtainable from scenario and quests. - Guild content : High disparity and data is hard to find, I won't add anything from this section. - Codes : Hard to track these and most player didn't get them, I won't add anything from this section. The next points comes from extrapolation of data provided from SWARFARM - Magic Shop : You have a 1.5% chance of finding "5 LD pieces" That represents an average of 0.075 pieces per magic shop check Assuming you've been checking the shop twice a day since the begining, you're supposed to be around 383.25 LD pieces, approx. 7.66 LD summons - World Boss: Assuming you've been able to achieve SSS rank on 3 daily runs after the first year [(.315 LD pieces per run / 50LD pieces per summon) + (.004 LD scroll per run)] * 3 runs a day * 2190 days = 41.4 summons from LD pieces summons + 26.3 LD scrolls = 67.7 LD summons If you sum up you should be around 500 LD summons as a free to play "regular" player. As there's a .35% chance of summoning an LD5, you get the following probabilities NOT getting any LD5 : (1 - 0.0035)^500 = 0.173 = 17.3% Getting at least one LD5 : 1 - (1 - 0.0035)^500 = 0.827 = 82.7% Which decomposes as follows : Getting EXACTLY 1 LD5 : 30.4% Getting EXACTLY 2 LD5 : 26.7% Getting EXACTLY 3 LD5 : 15.5% Getting EXACTLY 4 LD5 : 6.8% Getting 5 or more LD5 : 3.3% So, not getting any LD5 as a F2P regular player is QUITE UNLIKELY but not impossible. However, the reason why MOST PEOPLE didn't get any LD5 after 7 years is because... They didn't actually play the game on a daily basis for 7 years.
