Both sound great in their field. Flat 6 vs V8. Love em both. I used to have a Mustang 2020 GT but I have now a Cayman 718 and damn that thing is crazy quick. 400 hp and 400 kg less than the Stang. No comparison possible with the GT chassis wise. Never owned a 350 though so I can t speak.

I love them both in their own way too, wouldn’t sacrifice one for the other. I owned a 2015 Mustang GT before the GT350R and they can’t be compared either. The GT350R is in a different league in everything. For the GT350R vs the GT4, the GT350R feels very raw and you’re in for a wild ride but handles very good. The GT4 feels very refined, agile, very precise and handles even better.

You can't compare the 718 vs the 350R. Shelby is on another level and potentially one of the greatest OEM exhausts ever.

I definitely agree the 350R has one of the best OEM exhausts ever too. The best part too is it does NOT drone at all.

GREAT video! I’ve been trying to decide which exhaust (very necessary on these cars) for my Spyder - your video sealed the deal for me. And what a pair! I also have the same two cars 😆🙌

Glad the video helped! Changing the air filters to BMC also made it sound better from 5-8k rpm (more 4RS like). Its an amazing pair of cars to have.

I love my flat 6 and would probably prefer to live with the Porche, but the 350 is a unicorn. They sound even more insane in person

Do you have valve controller installed too with the JCR?

I don’t, it’s not needed unless you change the OAP or headers as well.

@@turahtid damn that's insane...I thought you had the value controller on...imagine the valve is open up all the way for the whole rev range...it will sound even better

@@vincentwong6851 Sorry I miss-understood you. The valve controller from the center console was connected and the valves were open the whole time. I recently installed the BMC air filters and the 5-8k RPM is even louder from the inside of the car. Sounds 4RS like.

The 350R if I don’t want to modify anything. I personally think the stock 350R exhaust sounds better than a modified one. Handling feel, the GT4 is far better but the stock sound is too tame. With an exhaust, the GT4 is the better car and I would pick that one.

@@turahtid thanks! I have yet to drive the gt4 but am shopping both. 350 leaves some money in the bank obv but the gt4 is just on another level and I feel like has appreciation potential. Decisions decisions haha. Also, not sure anything under a v10 can touch the gt350 exhaust. Note.

Stock for stock, the GT350 is a better value. If you don't care about sound or willing to spend extra to fix the GTS 4.0 sound, then the GTS is the one you should get. The handling feel and agility should be better if its similar to the Spyder.

718 spyder is not a gt4 but definetly similar structure and components

The 718 Spyder is the convertible GT4. Everything is the exact same except for the roof and wing.
