I like my main base up in the clouds at 270, -226. My pals mine the 8 nodes up top while I go down some stairs and mine the 5 coal nodes, put the coal in a storage box and it's still within my base's borders so I can just fire up the furnace with the ore and coal for refined ingots. The other benefit of being so high up is my base cannot be raided!

Thanks for another helpful video! last night I did move my base slightly so it would be over the Iron nodes of -75, -319. I was planning to elevate things, but the sloping ground didn't make it as easy as desired. I think I'm to take my setup and re-do it at your beach location. I only lost 3 hours in building it 🤣
@lareth879 ай бұрын
I'm surprised he overlooked -258, -368. It has a number of ore nodes, almost perfectly matches the pal box radius, and has a couple chests nearby. It's just a hop and skip away from a camp for some free pals, a couple silver tier chests for some extra loot once in a while, and it's not a bad view either. It's not far from TWO different locations on this list, and I would have thought he would have flown over it on the way to other locations. It's where I base in both of my community servers, its not that great for endgame, but its not hard to get to once you have a flyer at level 15. If you dont mind climbing and/or running a bit, you can even rush there from spawn. Though it is a level 20-ish area, so be careful not to aggro anything.

Built my base at the last location a week ago, with the tree as a focus in front of my palace at the cliff face. Rough spot to build, but with a lot of foundation shenanigans, you can make a nice flat fortress area. I even have smuggling tunnels. And you never get raided. It hasn't happened a single time, where I get raided as soon as I go back to one of my other bases.

A piece of knowledge that may not be widely known which opens a lot of base building spots is that lava doesn't hurt you. you can slap a base down in the middle of a lake of lava and it is usually very flat with minerals in it.

Great video! Again I'm so happy you're making content on this game because I am addicted and love your videos lol. I was wondering why a fast travel point would make a base location more enticing, but realized you may have added that in just as an fyi. I am the opposite and like to put my base far from fast travel points because using the palbox to travel to a place where I normally have to fly is convenient :) Love the vids, thanks so much!

I made one of my bases at the seated Anubis Statue to the south (need heat resistance). Mostly surrounded by water with the only way to get at the base is across a single bridge. Put a gate on either side of the bridge and you have an easy choke point where you can slaughter raiders. It has a skill fruit tree right in front of the seated Anubis and access to sulfer.

Another thing you should point out is how well it would do against raids. The future circle base at 14:48 is basically raid proof since I think only the flying raids have a chance of getting there meaning if you worry about getting raids then it's a great main base location. Course if you are playing with raids off then it doesn't matter to worry bout raids.

I tried to build at the Future circle base. I ran there with a newbie, stamina drain and daytime speed were turned down. Made it to the top and only died to some Reindrix that spawned up there. When I ran back it was some level 40 Caprity, but there's a problem. The center is "not touching the ground. As you proved you can drop a pal box, and anything the pal's don't interact with (tool box, flower bed fountain) but you or who you can toss out will built there but placed pals don't. Also with placed pals, when you drop pals in they get lost. I built foundations all around the edge they worked fine there, but couldn't transition through the middle. You have to pick everyone up and toss them to the foundations. Pity it would be awesome.

i put my main base on -475 -82 forgotten island, it's huge and flat with 2 copper node also it's deceptively high so no raid(even the flying one) can't reach it they just stuck on the ledge plus it's near beach so you can easily get pal fluid by slaughtering manta&penguin.

I’ve noticed that there are raid location markers where enemies will spawn from, mostly flat land dirt areas, if you build on that and there are none nearby I’ve noticed that literally no raids can happen, I built mine south of the lyleen tower, not a single raid so far

Just a heads up. It's way more efficient and faster to have an ore farm, turn the ores into ingots, ingots into nails, and sell the nails to buy ammunition from the Fisherman's Point merchant than it's to farm sulfur to manufacture gunpowder.

-78, 193 was good at first then it bugged out on me. The 4 chests respawned and 2/3 of my pals stopped working. Wouldn't even eat and started to die of starvation. The middle of the circle doesnt seem to register right either.
@slotholopolis23149 ай бұрын
2:15 that's exactly where I have my base as well! LOL great minds think alike. I have shifted most of my focus to the big ore/coal spot in the mountains but I've shifted this first spot to a farm focus. Have you ever gotten raided there? I put up walls but have never seen any enemy raids. Thinking of taking the walls down since my Pals often get stuck outside of them for literally no reason despite them being on the very edge of the boundary.
@en20drayt879 ай бұрын
i’ve been really enjoying griz bolts minigun, it’s really good coz it can get any pal low to be able to catch and won’t one shot basically anything which means you will likely never kill something you don’t want to kill. and it’s even better if you use grizbolts minigun on zoe’s grizbolt since he has about 7000% more health than normal

I personally built at the oasis. I play on a friend's server that has raids on and that upper area can't really be attacked if put walls up for the flying enemies. The ground enemies just get stuck in the water cause of pathing issues.

While I thank you for your effort, I can't help but feel this type of information is significantly better served in the form of a list (or my personal favorite, an excel sheet) rather than a video....
