Thanks for taking the time to make the videos Randall. I always enjoy them and am picking you good ideas. My first try at them was last season. This season i havnt made the tim e, and of course found myself needing and not finding any. Keep up the good wotk!

Hi Randel….my only suggestion would be to not leave open spaces-fill the box with frames-so they don’t waste time building comb for you to tear down…..the process will get smoother with changing your set up…..

I will try that the next time I set a cell builder up that way. I followed randy oliver technique here. It is only that way for 48 hours. I am trying different cell builder set ups with each graft. Thank you.

Sweet Randall. With a couple more batches of queens you will be ready to be selling queens. To bad some many bees flew back. Would having 10 frames in the hive keep more bees home?

Thank you.The triple deep configuration is for 48 hours. I had to shake in bees from anothe colony to try to get the.needed.stregth and alot left. They must have been to old to begin with. I am trying different cell builder set ups each graft. Setting up a strong starter has been the biggest challenge for me so far. You might be correct though. I will keep trying.

I had all but 1 of 7 torn down by the queen right finisher this year just needed 7 next time I’m going to do the 48 hr cell in the mating nuc. I have had good results with that last year.
