Nah that old fact about Mt Kinabalu as the highest mountain in South East Asia. You can just google up nowadays, Mt Kinabalu (4,095m) is the 5th highest mountain in South East Asia and 20th in the world. The highest one in South East Asia is Hkakabo Razi in Myanmar (5,881m)

Ahhh too bad you missed the fountain and lights show at the klcc park, but hey as you said, just seeing and standing right in front of the klcc/petronas twin towers itself was really thrilling and magnificent! Oh and that hostel you stayed in, having a pool with breathtaking view of the twin towers, wow, what a steal at only £15 a night! Fabulous, good job! Have a truly memorable and fun experience throughout your holiday in malaysia! 👍

Sorry to hear that you're being charged by someone to help take photo at the twin tower, we Malaysian don't do that. We will do it for free, just helping. Though looked like locals, those are foreigners who also sell handphone clip on lenses there. By the way the free musical fountain light show is at the lake on the other side (KLCC Park area). You can also watch the gradual shutting down of KLCC lights at 12 midnight.
