@@bridgettebirdow3834 According to AthanasiusKircher's 1654 Oedipus Aegyptiacus, the Psalm verse for this angel is Psalm 145:9 "The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works." In the Latin Vulgate, this is numbered as 144:9.

You do this calling for the Angel only once when the Sun enters the angle interval or you keep doing it everyday until the Sun enters the other angle interval ruled by the next Angel?

I do one shem angel operation every five days, doing one with each angel. Any day of the Sun, at the hour of the Sun. Just anywhere in that five day window, following the Sun through the Zodiac. That's just my method, and following the Sun through the Zodiac is found in Lenain's "Divine Cabal." The hour of the Sun is just my approach, and it works well.

very interesting and informative. I am curious if these angels have connections to different spheres of the dayside Tree of Life. I am also curious if this type of contact is more of an invocation rather than evocation since no circle or triangle is used and if it's then connected to Theurgy. Do you experience any kind of trance leading to invocation? I would be curious how they would respond to a more goetic style evocation with both the triangle and the circle and the type of manifestations that would lead to. I am also very curious what kind of sensations they produce to the body upon contact and how these compares to ones from goetic spirits, although they are very very hard to put in words. I would not use a triangle with angels. That's for calling a demon and keeping it from moving. I definitely would not use a triangle with these or any other angels... There are different approaches to grimoires.. so there are different approaches. But I think this stuff is very real and I definitely would not do that. The distinction between invoking and evoking dates back to 19th century Golden Dawn. There's no such distinction in the grimoires. Invoke just meant to call. It's all external. That said, it causes corresponding changes within us. But you don't really see calling spirits into you in the grimoires. I don't experience trances. I don't mix psychological model with this magic. There are different approaches to this stuff. So, these are just my opinions. I don't mean any offense at all. I'm just giving my honest perspective. And I appreciate you, brother, taking the time to comment and watch my videos. So, my attitude is this: we need to (temporarily) forget everything we know about magic when we look at the grimoires. Just forget all this modern stuff. Forget Crowley. Forget the Golden Dawn. Forget every modern magic book we've ever read. Forget all that stuff... In this way, we can understand what the grimoires were actually saying. Because, if we don't do that, then we're only projecting our modern magic ideas onto the grimoires. And we can never understand what the writers of the grimoires were trying to tell us. Now.. I do modern magic, too. But I keep these separate. I think it's important to forget everything we learned, and look at the classical texts with fresh eyes. That's the only way we can ever really understand classical magic. Just my honest opinion, but I would never use a triangle with angels. Just my thoughts. I hope I didn't come off bad or anything. I'm just trying to help, giving my honest opinion.

I don't have experience with these specific angels and I know certain spirits will allow the triangle and circle approach in order to teach more directly, while others don't. In any case it shouldn't be seen as binding an entity as they will sense that and return the favour, perhaps at a later date. Is it needed? Perhaps not, that depends on your approach and I have personally found deeper results with this approach than a more shamanic one per say but results will differ from the individual and their personal path. Thank you for the insight coming from a different approach. I appreciate the lengthy and thoughtful response.

Have you tried working with the Shem Angels? I don't know about time limits, but they seem to be pretty effective. If you really speed within a limited time, maybe a love candle spell with Saint Expedite. I made a video on how to work with the saint, if you look it up on KZbin.

The problem with using the sun sign: what if you are seriously ill. Do you wait a few months to contact a healing angel or just go for it.

You can work with any angel any time that you want. If you need a healing now, then I would not wait. Some people use no timing. I recommend trying with and without timing and see what works better for you. If you want to use timing, there is also a twenty minute cycle found in Lazare Lenain's "Science of Kabbalah." So, you could try using no timing or use the twenty minute cycle. I recommend trying all of the above. So, clearly, one doesn't have to follow the Sun through the zodiac. You could use either method. Each pathway or way is equally as valid as the other. You just have to see through experiment what works better for you.

Nothing they did seemed to help the sick man. He even got worse. Out of desperation the Doctor looked at a chart of the 72 three letter names. He meditated and felt that one seemed worth a try. He prayed to the angel and within a short time the sick man got better. That was my first encounter with the Shem ha mephorash.

Angels do not normally ask for anything in return. It is goodness for the sake of goodness. Love doesn't give because it expects something. I can only speak from my own personal experience, and from what I've seen in the grimoires and from other practitioners. In my experience, they only want to shower is with goodness, with that we also spread goodness in the world. I see nothing in the grimoires ever with pacts or offerings hardly with angels. That would be strange. Some practitioners give food out other offerings, but I think that is wrong. I'm curious "why" you think one must give something? It doesn't match my experience or study. I don't think that's correct at all

I'm curious what you honestly think you could give an angel. They aren't physical beings. They only want us to spread goodness and to come close to the Divine, or to spread more Divine Light in the world. This is just my honest opinion. I think this attitude that we need to pay angels is wrong. It doesn't match the evidence, as in most of the angelic grimoire material. And it doesn't match personal experience either. So, again, I'm curious where you are getting this from, or what you are basing this on.

How do you mean? Sigils are for making contact. But I don't use them. The earliest text of them I can find is in Lenain. There is an earlier source, but I don't think there is a digital version. There are corrupted sigils found in Arsenal manuscript. This was used by Ambelain. Some say the Sigils can cause problems. I don't personally use them, so I have no opinion, honestly. I don't use them. I don't see why they are needed when contact is already easily made. Why add something that's not needed? I would share here, but KZbin won't allow me to share pictures here. You can find them online. They are found in Wellcome MS 3203 among other places

But I think things like this done in the Golden Dawn, there's a deeper logic or reason behind them. I don't think they're going to start the Shem Angels in Leo because of a guy's birthday. I personally don't use GD methods for any of this. I see classical magic and lodge magic as two very different things, although I practice both.

@@goddess789 that doesn't matter. Planetary hours are simple. You work in the hour of the planet. For shem angels, since we're following the Sun through the zodiac, we can use the hour of the Sun. Alternatively, the hour of Mercury can be used for any spirits. Or no timing even. But in dealing with planetary hours, we don't look at zodiac signs. Just the planet here.
