There you are in the wool room!! I have a spare room like that where the closet is filled with my son’s belongings !! Waiting for him to take it . The blanket does look lovely and warm ! Glad you won in bingo! You are a hoot!!!!! Thank goodness you did not run out of gas !!! ❤xx

love the different terms for things between the UK and The USA, we say petrol you say Gas Marilyn, we use gas for central heating to heat our homes and cook our food, lots of other terms as well ..

@@sheilasknittingtipsandothe3191 I always felt the terms in the UK are more representative and straight - forward of the action they describe! Your terms make more literal sense , such as ‘take away’ ( food) as opposed to ‘take out’ as we use.. I vote for the ‘UK way’ / you guys say it as it is!

You have an amazing stash of wool there Sheila. I was wondering how your wool winder works. I’ve never used one before, is it worth getting on?

I have the same one. You attach the end of the wool to the centre spindle and then when you wind the handle it wraps around itself to form a centre pull cake. I use mine all the time.

the one i have is an ancient one i bought off Ebay 2nd hand Royal brand, very sturdy, the same kind i had before that looked the same but didn't last very long the old ones are the best..

I used 400grms of wool, so should be ok for a new baby..
