This is great. I'm currently in the middle of a 737 ng type course. We just finished talking about reverses. It's helpful to see them operating.

Cool always wanted to see how that works

Needed a little more lighting to actually see you how the reverser doors actually work.

what is the function of the target? im newbie. can someone explain please.
@joemeyer68765 жыл бұрын
Zaki Mustafa the target moves over a proximity switch, which sends signals to stop the thrust reverser mechanism.
@NicholasRiviera-Dr9 ай бұрын
The thrust reverser sleeve lock proximity sensor supplies a hydraulic actuator lock/unlock signal to the engine accessory unit (EAU). The EAU uses this signal for these functions: - Normal T/R stow control - Auto-restow control - Fault logic and fault indication

What is the correct procedure in case of the thrust reverser failure on the touchdown?
@TheMnvista7 жыл бұрын
Nothing. Just use spoilers and wheel brakes.

@@mmomsboy after the touchdown, what's the point of going around, it's actually dangerous to lift off with a reverser fault condition, what if the reverser is deployed ?

Cool. Those hydraulic pumps sound awful though.
@norbert.kiszka2 жыл бұрын
Maybe, but its still better sound than cheap servos with cheap plastic gears in many RC planes. Everytime when I hear it, I see one doing flight in 737 MAX style.
@calvinrovinescu61662 жыл бұрын
@@norbert.kiszka that's true. I just like the other option for them on the 737 better.
