This is definetky more towards Xbox rather than PC as, the Headwind even with A32NX systems is better than this Aicraft considering its price point.

You are wrong. Do you know that for instance PMDG Boeing 737 and Just Flight Bae 146 works 100% operational on Xbox.

@@koosvandam8054 I doubt I am wrong as for PC users there is headwind and not for Xbox. So the target market is more towards Xbox players and those who just want to have some fun. Which is possible for free on PC.

@@koosvandam8054yea pretty big difference when you charge $60 vs $30 all while Headwind and 32NX uses a open source fly by wire. At that point all you’re doing is modeling and making liveries. Plus Latinvfr is totally open with their community and making improvements. Some people just want to fly and throw a plan in msfs and fly it and not sit there punching the FMC hoping you didn’t screw it up. This plane is for everyone.

I happen to have all of LVFR previous Airbus products, now flying nothing but the PMDG 737 though. I think that for someone transitioning from the default aircraft in msfs to something like the fbw, pmdg or the fenix they’re a good middle ground before you tackle the more complex third party airliners out there.

Its a good starting point for ppl wishing to get into the more complex aircraft and tbf if they can take on some of your comments and sort the control sensitivity I'm sure the aircraft can improve greatly. However, as you pointed out its basic in many ways and i feel a little expensive for what it is especially as uses a lot of default coding it seems from A320. An interesting watch but not something i could justify buying just to try it especially when the Headwind exists. Its a shame the Headwind carnt sort the cockpit out as that would make a massive difference thx for the video.

As a novice myself I prefer complexity. Otherwise how am I to grow? An aircraft for beginners should only have its failures disabled by default. And as the pilot becomes more familiar with the complexities of the aircraft they can gradually enable them. Honestly the way they are going about it currently is giving the impression that beginners are dumb. Having said that for Xbox users and for the sake of roleplaying there is no other option for an A330 in the sim so I think it is still an important addon.

@@TJ.Turner A lot of "beginner" or "simplified" airplane addons often misses "exception handling" - what is going to happen if you forgot to idle your conditional lever before going hotel mode? Since developers like Hans Hartmann and Aerosoft has that "positive checklist" mentality, this kind of slip-ups will usually result in MSFS-breaking bug that prevents you from shutting down the engine or other annoying outcome. It is not about "complexity" where you don't have to turn on fuel pumps before starting APU or the engine. It is immersion-breaking and janky procedures that simply doesn't make sense or break the game mechanics.

@@yohannessulistyo4025 I agree with those thoughts, as they are the just of what I meant. I just didnt know how to express them in such away. But I dont like the idea that an aircraft has to be dumb for beginners. I think there are better ways to make the aircraft accessible until a certain skill level is reached. LatinVFR might also be masking thier own limitations with Xbox users.

Tho the aircraft doesn’t cater to my preferred level of system complexity, there are still some nice features present like the oans... Now going forward I would love to see them doing it like some of the other developers with a "professional" version of the plane, but I feel like that wont happen. Lastly I find it rather strange that they decided to exclude Horizon Simulations from being able to develop the plane further, but I guess they have their reasons. So all in all I hope the Aerosoft A330 wont be a total letdown. Thanks for the review :)

The A330 cockpit is based on the A340. So the APU is moved to the side to give room for two more engines.

There are some mistakes in this module 1. A330-900 equipped RR T7000 ENG only which is 3 spool ENG. So the upper ECAM should display N1 (Fan speed) & N3 (High pressure compressor) speed. The N2 speed display in lower ECAM which includes oil QTY. 2. When ENG start there is "attention box" comes out to cover the starting ENG data. This box purpose is to remind you the ENG is starting that you should focus on it. It will disappear when starting sequence is complete which is"AVAIL" comes out on N1 speed analog. 3. In T7000,Fuel flow & igniter are active at same time when you start the ENG. In this video the igniter is active but fuel flow is too slow. In real, it will increase flow to around 230 from 0. Just for sharing~

LVFR has expanded on the default avionics somewhat (with the systems pages for example, which are not working in the default A320neo), but there's clearly more work to do. What I really don't understant is why Asobo neglected the Airbus systems in general. I would think an Avionics Update would be in order, but they just abandoned the whole thing.

After watching the video, I feel quite mixed as to this aircraft The model is good, and for those who are used to and wouldn't mind the default avionics, then it is all right. But then I wonder what the crossover is between those people, and those who can spend £30 on an airliner, and £10/month on Navigraph, or would really care about those features. I feel like once you start to care about following procedures (thus needing charts), or care about the sim enough to spend £30 on an aircraft, you want those for the greater depth and realism, and thus want better system depth. Captain Sim (whose aircraft seem similar to this in what they do) are half the cost, a far more attractive offer for a newcomer to the simulator.

It’s sad that Xbox users don’t have a proper-level modern Airbus available yet while B737, BAE 146 and A310 prove the platform itself is definitely not the problem. This one doesn’t add much over the default A320 and the price point is pretty steep for what it’s offering. Also, regardless of the A339s quality and target audience, the LVFR attitude towards Horizon Sim automatically makes their products a hard pass for me. I guess some flight sim devs still have to learn the lesson a lot of big game studios learned the hard way over the last decade or so - NEVER fight the modders.

Hi Emanuel …. This aircraft has a great model detailing. But as compared to Headwinds , this one isn’t good enough. Moreover for some of us , at least me it will start stuttering even if I have a top of line system configuration. This needs a lot of polishing and hoping that Horizon Sim somehow creates an addon for this one to make it worthwhile.😅 my honest opinion brother!

These are clearly aimed towards the Xbox user market, which is totally fine as they are lacking any decent aircraft, bar the PMDG 737. But, that being said - for the price of it, this is totally unacceptable. Latin VFR had a great reputation, for their scenery. But their aircraft are appalling, and rely upon 3rd party developers to improve.

Aersoft had enough problems I don't think this plane is for the MS2020, it's more for the MS2024 and I don't buy aero scrap for expensive money. The a330 will certainly cost 60 dollars or more.

@AnonymeOfWar The Flybywire A380 is a more complex aircraft than the default Asobo A320neo. However the learning curve is not that huge since all Airbus' have similar characteristics.

@A330Driver just as you said in your video. That this thing is hard to taxi. Then you said that it's easier for those of us on the controller. If you've ever tried to taxi this using a controller. You would know that it's not. You could have the stick far left or even be full left on the rudder. This thing doesn't turn. If I look at the nose wheel. It would be turned so far left. That it should break off in real life. What's sad is. I've contacted lvfr with no response. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't think so being a have all their other aircraft, and they turn fine. I can deal with all the other flaws, but not being able to taxi is why I won't fly it any more
