My 1st driving experience was on the farm when I was about 5, they would get the tractor going and hop off then I would steer the tractor around the field while hay was loaded on to the trailer. I learned to drive a car sitting on my fathers lap until I was big enough to reach the pedals.

So my Grandma told me that when she got her license she had to find the Sheriff and when they found him he was at the local bar. He got out his book and filled out the paper and gave it to her, no driving test. She never let it expire. Back then, 30s, they just paid for the license and got one.

The shed is looking good. What's up with this weather, it was in the 50's a week ago , today it's 76 degrees at 11:30am. The weekend suppose to be back in the high 50's to low 60's. Your shed is coming along nicely Mike! Not sure how it compares, but I used eastern white pine to build a larger, though very similar, equipment shed in eastern PA a few years back. It’s holding up extremely well thus far. Yours will be done before you know it!

Took my road test in a 66 chevy C10 with a high power 235-6 banger. Ran the Kansas back roads hard in that old truck and miss it to this day. I love the home cut lumber. Use what you got using good forestry practices.

That really is some nice looking wood for the shed and I love the progress. I didn't pass the driver's test the first time. It was in December and there was ice and snow on the ground. The officer didn't like the way I tried to avoid the ice on the road so he marked me down. He was real impressed with my parking skills though. He suggested I retake the test when the snow was all gone. So I did and passed with flying colors. Guess I should have just waited the first time but you know how it is when you are anxious to get that licence. That was over 40 years ago and I think about that day from time to time and now wish I didn't have to drive at all. Ha Ha.

I am spending this time turning the garden so we can plant peas, tomatoes, peppers, and squash. I am also building cabinets to go under my job site saw in my wood shop. It is great to have time to work on those.

Thanks for another awesome video. I agree Mike....I think the drivers exam used to be a lot simpler years ago. But then again, we all grew up in the country and were probably driving on back roads or driving tractors on the local farms since we were old enough to reach the pedals. So taking the drivers exam was just a formality...we'd been driving for years. I have not one but two weather apps on my phone and probably check the weather about 5-6 times a day. I'm always trying to see what the weather is doing to see if I can get outside to do something constructive after work or how it's shaping up for the weekend. Looking forward to trying out some of the Ariat Clothing and boots.

I bought my daughter a Pontiac fiero when she turned 16. Had to work on it a lot but it was a fast little car. Lol when I drove it I had to roll out of it because it was so low. Precious memories!! Thanks guys!
