I remember watching sooty, sweep & sue back in the 1960 I was 3 years old. Loved it growing up. Then my children grew up watching it back in the 1980. Never ages. Wonderful children’s show.

I grew up with Sooty, Sweep and Sue back in the 60's. My youngest daughter loved Sooty too (she's nearly 40) - when she was 4 we bought her a Sooty and she used to take it to school, we had to make mini school books for it.

I’m not a sooty and sweep fan because I never watched that show at all in my entire life the only children’s program I like when I was younger I liked chucklevision because it has two double actors Paul and Barry Elliot

The man you can see in this clip with sooty and sweep is 75 year old Matthew Corbett the son of Harry Corbett and his wife Marjorie and brother to Jonathan he’s the man who’s took over the working of the puppet of sooty the bear and he was very lucky 3 years ago because he nearly died from coronavirus

No it's not. Matthew retired from working with Sooty back in 1998 due to leukemia, although he's still around. Sooty's right hand man now is Richard Cadell who has been looking after the Sooty business since Matthew retired.
