We are seing across the world, a democratic recoil, from israel to el salvadore, and from my country, algeria, to the US, there is a very concerning pattern for leaders to embrace one man rule and the rule of guns instead of the rule of law. If in some middle eastern country, this is their way of governing, from always, what we saw in western countries like the brexit in UK and MAGA extremism are a very troubling pattern, the united states, europe, and others needs to look at countries like norway, sweden, and denmark, from issues like reproductive health of womens to social security and public infrastructure, from democratic governance to climate change and sustainability, they, among others, are showing us the way.
